Great coffee! I really appreciated just getting something basic and unpretentious as coffee with milk and sugar, but well prepared. Nice atmosphere.

Quality roaster, just past 1st crack favoring fruits and acidity. Costa Rica (washed) was very good.

Good vibes, quiet setting. The flexibility on the menu is very limited so come prepared to get exactly what’s on the menu… no chai or matcha: (but the latte was beautifully made and delicious.

By far the best coffee shop in San Antonio, and I've tried dozens. Knowledgeable, polite staff who are passionate about coffee. I love this place.

First time visiting this seemingly popular location on a busy street. Situated in an area that has many shops and restaurants, they selected a great location. There is both a front and rear entrance. The rear entrance had seating outside as well as ample parking in a secured lot. The parking is validated for patrons visiting certain locations, including this one. The menu was short and straight forward. I went for the iced espresso with lactose-free milk. I inquired as to what type of milk it was and the server stated it was H-E-B brand. They did have other milk alternatives available as well.

The shop is an open concept layout from end to end and has plenty of seating. We came at a time where it was not busy so the shop seemed spacious and calming. This is a great atmosphere for anyone looking to get work done on their laptop, read a book, or have a client meeting. They do provide their wifi password located on their menu by the register. The shop also has merchandise available for sale.

The coffee was provided at the table my partner and I were seated at and it was in a plastic to-go cup with a sealed top similar to what bubble tea is usually sealed in. I did not get any syrup or flavor, but the coffee had a great taste. It was not too overpowering, but I would be curious to try the same drink with flavors.

Overall I had an enjoyable experience and would definitely return.

Nice place but I would not get their cold brew again. They must be using the wrong roast, not smooth at all.

Visited 3 out of 4 days we spent in San Antonio after falling in love with the dirty cold brew. Top tier coffee and also had a muffin that was stuffed full of fresh blueberries. Great atmosphere too - if it had been a work trip, I would have been here more than in the room!

The coffee was good-BUT-and this is a huge BUT. You can't add your own sweetener. Know this before you order. Because once he makes your iced coffee, he sticks it into this machine that heat-seals a plastic cover onto the cup. You know, sealed like those fruit cups you send to school for your kids. Sooooo if you expect a counter with sweeteners to add after, you have to ask for it when you order. And I hate trying to tell someone how much to add because it never comes out as good as when I add it myself (in this case, I asked for a little but his idea of a little was a whole lot). So, neat concept with the heat seal but not at all convenient.

I was in San Antonio for the weekend with my family and we found this cute coffee shop online. They have a great and inviting atmosphere for indoor and outdoor seating. I got some work done, read a little, and had some great conversations. The staff was friendly and knowledge as well

Their Cortaves (agave cortados) are delicious. And their chemexs and other coffees are fantastic

Love this place for the ambiance, the location, and most of all the excellent coffee. Pro-tip: they have weekly, biweekly, and monthly subscriptions to get their freshly roasted beans shipped right to your house! Highly recommend

So glad we stumbled upon this coffee lover's cafe! If you are serious about your coffee, this is the cafe for you. Exquisite coffees from around the world, selected by brew masters and then roasted to perfection. The menu is simple, black, white and sweet. You are there for the coffee not the pizazz, yet the coffee itself embodies pizazz. They also have a lovely selection of savory and sweet pastries to accompany your coffee selection. We enjoyed Brown Coffee Company so much we stopped in twice during our overnight stay in San Antonio and plan to make this our prime spot whenever we are in town.
