18Excellent service from Brown Subaru. Jaimi didnt mess around and provided the most seamless and efficient dealer experience I've ever had. The finance office was able to work with me to work through some wire transfer issues to still get things done in a timely manner. Definitely look forward to working with them in the future and would absolutely recommend the Brown group to anybody looking at a new vehicle!
This was for my 3rd oil change with this shop, only this time was different. When picking up my 2022 Subaru Crosstrek from its routine oil change i was notified that my car was involved in an incident on the property, preformed by the workers. With disbelief i ran out to my car to find a large crack in the bumper and trim. With little to no information i was given a card and was sent on my way. The workers were unbelievably unprofessional, i wasn’t given a chance to talk to the manager nor was i told how this situation was going to be properly handled and how it will affect my insurance and care report. Me and my partner found this experience to be discouraging and offensive, feeling that this was not taken seriously as it needed to be.i have had this car less than a year and have taken such good care of it.i hate that my car had to be damaged by a company i thought i trusted.i understand accidents happen but Brown Subaru was extremely unprofessional and 100% could have handled this better. Being that i originally bought this car from their property i received absolutely no reimbursement, compensation, and no support in this inconvenience. It’s extremely disappointing and frustrating that i can no longer trust this dealership to take care of my car.
Update: i have heard absolutely no updates. And no calls from their supervisor. It feels that the whole situation was swept under the rug.
I don’t plan on continuing to be a loyal paying customer to them.
83 yr old car won't start, got a jump & takes it in. They kept it over night & stated she had 6 months of battery life Since it isn't dead, they won't replace under warranty. This is the second battery in 4 years. Recommend she start it each day and run for 5 minutes. Car was bought new here, only has 38k on it. Is this how you would treat your mother, grandmother or any senior? Absolutely pathetic service.
Throughout my whole life, in all different facates of customer service, I have never met someone so nice, professional, and courteous as Chad. Not only do they not upmark their prices unlike the majority of dealerships in America right now, but they are willing to do whatever in their power to make the purchase even better. I highly, highly recommend that if you're in need of a new Subaru to seek Chad out. My experience with him has been nothing short of perfection. Thank you so much, Chad!
We looked at cars all day long! Jaimie waited for us and we fell in love with a gray Subaru Ascent. She showed us all of the features, helped us get where we wanted to be and got the deal done. She went out of her way to get us into our dream car. The other dealers were at the same price with not many features. They all stayed late to get us into the car, because we live 85 miles from the dealer. Thank you goes out to Donovan too! We chose to buy from Brown Subaru because they were one of the few dealerships willing to sell us a car without unnecessary markups in price. Jaimi was extremely pleasant to work with and was very helpful and knowledgeable. We would recommend this dealership to anyone.
Repeated replacement of car battery in our Outback (with mileage of 38,000 miles). #4 battery now a non Subaru battery at our expense.
Amazing service from Brown Subaru. We were driving from Colorado to Texas, staying overnight in Amarillo. Shortly before we got to Amarillo, we had a problem with our Legacy. I called Brown shortly before they were closing. Josh told me to come at 7 am the next morning. We were there at 7 am and Poncho, the service manager, could not have been nicer or more helpful. Bobby, their star tech, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. Poncho said they always try to help travelers as best they can; and they certainly could not have been more helpful than they were for us.
At 4: 00 p.m. We noticed a tire losing air while traveling west in the Panhandle. We called Brown Subaru’s service desk. They were very accommodating and encouraging and changed our defective tire promptly when we arrived at 5: 00 p.m. They couldn’t have been more courteous or helpful or efficient. We were on the road again, on schedule, and couldn’t be more pleased with the kind, friendly and professional service we received!
Jaimi was great to work with. My car got there faster than anticipated. The process of buying it was fast.

Bought a Forester Wilderness yesterday. I had an awesome experience. Dallas Smith was my salesperson. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the Subarus I looked at. When I settled on the one I wanted, he and the whole Subaru staff were great and worked hard to earn my business. I really liked Dallas’s laid back and non-pushy attitude. It made the difference for me.
This dealership is far more dishonest and deceitful than the others I have done business with in Amarillo.
Purchased two from here. Was hooked by a 0% apr until X amount of time but once I came in and papers were signed it jumped to 4%. Was recently offered a ‘guaranteed trade in’ for my 2020 @ $35k so I traded for a newer one. Once again- papers signed. I only got $27k for my trade. Never again, folks.
Brown Subaru quickly repaired our Forester while we were on the road home to Louisiana. I have the highest praise for service manager Poncho Quintanilla, the excellent mechanic who did the repair, the guy who rushed the part to us from another dealer in Lubbock, and the efficient shuttle driver Bobby Harrell. Employees like these four guys build brand loyalty, no matter what part of the country one lives in.
I worked with Eric and he did an incredible job for me. Purchasing my first ever Subaru was great with Eric and the Brown team. I drove from Lubbock because if their kindness.
