Got gas, went in to use the restroom, put in a burrito ordered TWO tacos. Got some coffee and waited an additional 20 MINUTES for the damn tacos. Horrible service. My burritos are cold, you can tell by my unmelted cheese.

I always figured Buc-ee's to be open 24/7 but I wasn't sure if they served hot, freshly prepared food at all hours. Well, turns out they do. I arrived about 2AM, Sunday morning and ordered a meal. They had a full kitchen staff busy working, and plenty of clientele to go with it too.

I travel frequently from Dallas to Austin and vice versa and it’s always a must stopping by at bucees. It had been a pleasant experience until today, team leader Makayla lacks customer service. I walked up to the register and was not greeted, she didn’t make eye contact, kept making faces and obviously didn’t. It’s a bummer because it’s a great store, usually employees are friendly and one person changed my perspective. Please make sure she gets the training she needs. As a “team leader” she should be making it a great experience to all customers stopping by. 5 stars for bucees 0 stars for Makayla.

I never need to go to Buck-ees ever again. It reminds me of the chaos of Hell.
My kids loved it so you get 4 stars.

Long line to the restrooms and it was not clean like most of the buc-ee's I have been to. On top of that, I ordered 2 chopped brisket sandwiches and half of the sandwich had less than 1/3 meat. I literally paid for a plain bun sandwich.

Whatever you do, do not eat their breakfast! The tacos we bought were raw tortillas, over stuffed with egg and raw bacon. The croissants also had a pound of egg in it with raw bacon. Horrible experience, if you’re paying $4 per taco it should be better than that!

This is a very busy place for a reason. They have what people need, fun, refreshments, and large clean restrooms. I did not see very much advertisement for this place and was only aware of it from family advising us to stop. If they had more ads they probably would not be able to keep up. There had to be about 500 people just after 3 when we stopped. If we are ever back in the area again we will make sure to stop in again.

I try and stop at a Buc-ee's every time we are on a road trip. I'll usually stop at this one shortly after leaving town heading South and I also usually stop at the one in New Braunfels. This location is always clean, the food is fresh and delicious, and the gas prices are very fair. We always find a snack that we are looking for. The Beaver Chips, Alamo Sandwich, Caesar wrap, beef jerky, kettle corn, pretzels, iced coffee, hot coffee, jalapeno cheddar popcorn, and the BBQ sandwiches are some of our favorites! There is ample space for your pets to walk, sniff, and relieve themselves. Construction on 35 sometimes makes getting/leaving this location a pain, but it is definitely worth it!

WoW, hard to describe ~ semi-organized enormous carnival with sticky floors (everywhere) and ambivalent robotic staff ~ personal pet rock: new tire air dispenser ($1.75 per shot, wasted), missing valve internals (see pic). Luckily, the second machine worked (for another $1.75).

LIFESAVER.somehow left dallas without my wallet. Would not have made it home except for the fact they accepted Apple Pay so I could at least get gas.

Buc-ee's is a great place to shop they have gas only Vehicles no semi trucks! However the stuff they sell is Sky High in price. There is always a line at least 10 to 12 people's deep at the cash register other than that got the cheapest gas in town

I honestly do not understand how anybody could leave a bad review for this location. I am in love with that furry little thang.yeehaw i love texas, everything is big here, especially buccees big behind ***********. I have all the bucees merch and i wear it to bed every single night, never washing it from when i first bought it. I love you buccypoo ;) (nice bathrooms very clean)

So where to begin.store is fantastic but the customer service sucks! Signs everywhere that state no 18 wheelers. So I go to the truck stop and drop my trailer and ride my cab down there. Go in for about 20 minutes, grab a few sandwiches, some jerky, and a few munchies. First off whoa the prices! Seriously! Then I go out to my vehicle to see they tagged it with a big orange sticker to be towed. Not only that they caused damaged to my vehicle while climbing up on it to place the sticker on it. And my visit ended by the manager telling me I'm lucky that they even allowed their cashier to cash me out and he should've refused my sale. I'm sorry buc-ees but this policy is not okay. You want the trucks to bring you product but then you say F U to the truckers. That's a sad sad policy!

Very disappointed in the selection compaired to your other locations. Hard to believe that you don't have chilled, flavored coffee creamer. The little cups are NOT the same. No coffee selection. Left without purchasing anything thing.

Heard this place was great but we couldn't even make it in the door before an employee came out yelling to move our car. He made my kids bust out in tears so we left! Never again

This store does not have chip readers on their credit card machines, they asked me to swipe my card and then informed me it was declined. I thought this very odd as there is more than adequate available on the card, but as I was traveling figured that the fraud alert may have been triggered, so switched to another card and was once again declined. This was very strange as again there was not an issue with available funds. The clerk called another cashier over that repeatedly kept telling me that there was “no money on the card”. I opened the app and showed her the available amount on the card and asked her to check their system. She became agitated and called over her manager who immediately began telling us to just leave. Now frustrated with the manager’s antics, I switched to my debit card. Again it was declined. The second cashier then began yelling at us that there was nothing wrong with their system, we either didn’t have the money to pay or there was a problem with the bank, but needed to get out of her line. Instead I called the bank (love USAA) and less than a minute later a helpful agent was on my speaker phone also explaining to the cashier & manager that their credit card system had not attempted any transaction on either our credit or debit cards and that there was more than enough to cover the small transaction. He then asked for the error code from the system that came up when the card was declined. She yelled at him through the phone that there was no code it was just declined. The bank agent explained to the store personnel that there was an issue with the unit and they should reboot it to see if it would come back online, he apologized to me that there was nothing more he could do at this point. By this time the manager was so irate that I asked my husband to take the children to the car to avoid any further embarrassment from him. I asked him to please do as the bank agent suggested and reset their system, he instead suggested that he call the police to have me removed. Then the original cashier yells out that if I really have the money why don’t i just use their ATM? I did not realize there was one in the store, so at this point was fine with paying the ridiculous $3.00 fee just to prove the point that my card was working just fine. And what do you know, like magic the same card that “did not have any money on it” had no problem spitting out the maximum withdrawal amount in cash. When I walked back up with the cash the obnoxious manager disappeared without a word of of acknowledgement or hint of remorse for failing to consider the possibility that their computer system might actually have had an issue. We almost always go out of our way to stop at Buc-ees when we have seen them in our travels; but now the cheerful and clever signs that once brought a childish giggle, now just bring disgust. Epic fail at customer service night manager at Buc-ee’s of Temple, TX.

I will never spend a dime at Bucees because of their sheer hatred for truck drivers, i guess their products magically show up on their shelves?

Huge, busy, chaotic, gas station that everything branded with its mascot. Really good beef jerky.
