Buc-ee's, New Braunfels TX

"The Buc-ee's chain is known for its super-sized Interstate highway stores, but the one that opened in 2012 in New Braunfels is the biggest of all. The numbers are impressive: 60 gas pumps, 84 toilets*, 80 soda dispensers, etc. Plus its owner, Arch "Beaver" Aplin, likes to stock his stores - including this one, longer than a football field - with odd items, like "beaver nuggets. "
Outside, a large bronze statue stands of the chain's mascot, a cartoon beaver with goggle eyes and a wide-open mouth, wearing sneakers and a baseball cap. It's a popular photo op, although you really don't want to hug Buc-ee after he's spent a day baking in the Texas sun.

The staff is super friendly and everything is always great, good deals and cheap gas!

Great place, love it! Just one suggestion could you please put the sausage in the kolache in the middle of the kolache? Just a thought.

I was very disappointed me and my son go just about every night over there. And last night we went and there were so many people in there without a mask on. And no one told them anything if we go again and see people without a mask we will have to report them and not go there anymore.

It's a staple and they've been an easily adjusted place to frequent during the pandemic. They are not enforcing the masking policy which is unfortunate. Otherwise they did a great job with the safety protocols. It is Texas, so maybe that's the issue, but I saw only one unmasked man and he didn't seem to be getting served, although it would be better if he'd been barred from entry.

To anyone traveling do not stop at this Buc-ees and expect to be able to rest. I pulled in the lot at midnight fueled up and pulled to the back corner of lot to have security knock on the door at 4: 10. I was told I stayed past my time limit. I travel all over the country for work and never had this problem at any other Buc-ees.

Very clean. Lots of gas stations. As a Californian, Bucee’s is amazing. Really wish we had one in CA but its k. Always get the cheap drinks, great beaver nuggets. Great bathrooms. Great fast cashiers. Always make a pit stop here regardless of which city you traveling to.

FOOD PURPOSES:
We ordered and got our food (after only trying to grab and go hot food for so long)

And the fries were extremely subpar (easily can tell they were microwaved and did not taste great)

And the brisket was dry

It’s a great rest stop but parking such an issue that people just leave their cars at the gas pump. Was stuck 15 minutes waiting for the rude folks to come back to their cars. Wasn’t the first time either. Bucees should step up and do something because for me for now on, while still great, it’s not worth the risk.

First time visiting a Buc-ees station in Texas area. They have a great service. There are many snack, burger, sandwich, drink and souvenir options.

Went here for food and wanted to try the brisket sandwich and man very disappointed the meat was chewy and tasted nasty couldn’t go back because I had to make it back home on time

I plan my trips around stopping at Buc-ee's. It has everything you could possibly ask for.plenty of gas pumps, clean restrooms, huge variety of drinks and snacks, and freshly prepared on-the-go meals. The chopped brisket sandwich is a personal favorite.

Buc-ees is my Happy Place! I love the ultra clean restrooms, delicious/fresh food, Texas merchandise, and friendly staff.

Love Buc-ee’s! Great food, amazingly clean bathrooms, all kinds of snack selections. Must visit if you’ve never have and even if you have before you can always find something in there that you like.

Good sandwiches. Good fudge. Well priced gas. Clean bathrooms. No need to wait for gas or restroom because there's so many. Good prices al around. This is the best convenience store I've ever been in. Covers all the bases then some.

Largest convenience store I've been in. Cleanest restrooms you'll find too! There is a lot of variety and you'll definitely spend more time here than planned, but it is worth the visit.

Good food, bbq, kolaches, beef jerky, burritos, sandwiches, protein packs, everything is delicious. Cleanest restrooms on earth, such an effort from the janitors to keep the restrooms spotless. So many choices like snakes, sweets, desserts, candies, sodas, decorations, shirts.you name it. Buc-ees is a good place to stop, buy good, put gas and keep the Road trip. Many gas pumps and still sometimes is hard to find one available, gas is a bit cheaper here. Love this place!

No bs this is the world's largest convenience store. Very clean, plenty of room, staff, bathrooms, pumps, food and drink options. My favorite convenience store chain.

Cleanest Bathrooms I have ever been in and huge.lots of stalls and urinals. 64oz fountain drinks for less than $1. Great prices on gas. Tons of shopping to be done in here. Don't recommend the hot food, lacks flavor. But probably the best Gas Station you will ever visit.

I told the manager Steve Berdine that the metal part of the pump that goes in to the tank is leaking by the black rubber piece so he calls an attendant to finish pumping my gas and give me a f***ING receipt! They did not tag the pump and refused to address the issue. I have called Texas agriculture at (800) TELL-TDA. I am going to have them inspect the pump (s).
