Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant, Southlake TX

My friend and I were celebrating 20 years of friendship, and our server, Chris, was AMAZING! Give that guy a raise! He took fantastic care of us and answered all our questions. He’s also friendly and hilarious. The food and atmosphere is SOOOO GOOD! Highly recommend!

Place was great food and service wise, but unfortunately the back area where we were, the AC wasn't working and there weren't any ceiling fans. For 10-15 fat kids, that was rough. But for my Birthday lunch and service and everything else it was TOP NOTCH!

Melissa, the manager, had a disgusting attitude. We had asked for them to remake us a small salad because there was a piece of salami that had fallen into our bowl, and I can't have pork. Melissa came back to inform us that the salad doesn't have any meat in it. We told her that it was contaminated with a piece of salami and begrudgingly replies by saying "well, I'm sorry. "
I'm sorry people with dietary restrictions exist, Melissa. Aside from the I'll mannerisms of that manager, the food was incredibly disappointing.

We went there on Friday evening for a birthday dinner. We used to go to this location a lot years go. Unfortunately, the food and service have deteriorated.

The hostess was rude and useless. First she wanted to seat us in the hot kitchen. Then she was trying to squeeze 6 of us on a table for 5 between two other full tables while there were plenty of other halls and large tables that were open. The restaurant was half empty and remained that way through the rest of the evening. Finally, after a lot of persistence, we got a table sued for 6.

The food is not as good as it used to be. The eggplant parmigiana was made exclusively of eggplant peels.

I felt bad for the waitress. She had positive attitude and was trying hard but was not trained either.

We will not go there again.

Anyone knows me would tell you I never liked Italian food until I came here. The food was great the service perfect and the photos on the wall and the photos on the wall made me experience even better.

After coming here it made me realize that I do actually love Italian food, the problem was I only had Olive Garden.

To make things even better my daughter left her bracelet here and they actually put in a safe. When I came to get they gave it back with no issues and gave me a free tea for the road I highly recommend this place.

We decided to get Buca to go because we had family in town and it sounded good. We ordered a large spaghetti and a large chicken parmigiana.

Our guests came over to eat and everyone liked the spaghetti but hardly anyone enjoyed the chicken parmigiana. It just wasn’t good. I could tell by watching everyone eat that they didn’t like the chicken. Finally someone said how they enjoyed the spaghetti but not so much for the chicken.

I know things don’t always taste as good when you take them to go but these large items are not cheap. The quality of the chicken should have been better but it wasn’t. Not a lot we can do at this point. I would highly recommend their spaghetti.

I heared from firend that buca di beppo serves authentic Italian food.
But i have experienced it as over rated. The prices are peak high like even appetizers cost $30 and main course is around $35-$70. Food quantity is single dish serve’s easily for two people.
Food is not that great for vegetarians.

Melisa Vogt the Assistant General Manager was so fantastic! We came after my daughter and her awesome new husband married. Melisa went above and beyond in so many ways. I hope we weren't too much of a pain! She sure seemed to enjoy us! I think it's a good time for an atta girl for Melisa! She's totally what made our experience awesome! THANK YOU!

First time we have been there in years. 1 member of our table waited 15+ minutes for their drink. Another member ordered a drink 3 times from the bar only to be told they were out of that beer. Had to ask for sweet tea twice and once we finally got the correct drink it was so sweet it was undrinkable. Waiter told us he was busy with a large table in another room so to just flag him down when we saw him when we needed something. We order an appetizer. Way over cooked. We ask for our check and left. Won’t go back again.

Had a great dinner and a great server. Thomas was fun, friendly and gave us great food suggestions. We need more servers like him. I suggest getting the prosciutto stuffed chicken. The pesto sauce is amazing. It is family style, pick two dishes and share it with everyone.

This was my 1st time here & OMG our server THOMAS was the BESSSSSST EVERRRRRRR I will definitely return & request his section again. The food was great & easy to choose from with the help from Thomas he knows his stuff so definitely a must visit if you haven’t already!

My family (16) came here tonight to celebrate my 65th Birthday! What a fun treat! Alan served us All. Great food and great service. Look forward to trying Meatball Monday. Try Buca di Beppo -you won’t be disappointed!

Our family came to celebrate my Mother's 65th birthday. (16 of us) Our waiter was Alan, and the service he provided was exceptional. The food was delicious and the timing of its delivery was perfectly spaced out. We will definitely be back!

Really loved our waiter Alan he was very attentive and recommended many great choices. All the food is sharable size so it is definitely great for family. We had the fettuccine alfredo and chicken Parmigiana both small and it was good for 5 people 4 adults and 1 preteen. We took leftovers home so small is perfect for a family of 5 the drinks are also sharable definitely recommend amalfi blue wave. Alan was amazing get him as a waiter he's great.

Joey was a wonderful waiter! He was very attentive and despite us having a large group he made sure we were very well taken care of. I’ve never been to Buca di Beppo before and he made my first impression of the restaurant very positive.

Buca never disappoints! We have visited a few times and have never left unhappy. The last time we went for dinner Chef Justin came out to check in and chat a little bit. It was great, he made us feel like family!

Went there recently, Luke was our server (3) of us in a full section. Very attentive, kind and knowledgeable of the food and drink selection. Our experience was wonderful, always is. Buca is a classic family restaurant always love my time there.

Came here with a couple of my friends about a week or so ago, we were immediately greeted and seated, service was awesome, food was great, and the management knows how to take care of customers. 10/10 recommend coming here.
