Bar Buddy's Place reviews
15 I've driven past this little bar so many times and have always wanted to stop by. I finally did. It's such a cool little hole in the wall bar. Those are the best! They had a good band playing that night, too.
It's so close to home, I'll for sure be back!
Great "beer joint"! Fun on Christmas Day shooting pool with friends. Pool tables are great! Good variety of beer.
The place looks fun and I was looking forward to go until I saw the Confederate flag. No thank you, I'll go somewhere else.
Great friendly neighborhood type beer joint where regular's and their drinks are remembered. Live music impromptu / ad hoc sessions on Thursdays
Super cute hole in the wall country beer bar. Everyone was super friendly, darts were free, and it was just a chill place to relax and have a beer.
Great old Austin favorite. Thursday nights you definitely gotta go. Join in country jam session! Definitely some fantastic musicians jamming.
If anyone is wondering, the confederate flag is still up. We thought it looked like a pretty cool hole in the wall spot otherwise but it’d be a lot cooler if they took it down.
Bartender was awesome, came to check if we needed a beer so often. Hole in the wall atmosphere, but awesome if you like that. Jukebox was all country, but the best country. I loved it. Inside is great with two quarter pool tables, darts and a outside back area for smokers. Beer and set ups for liquor
If in city come for 3 beers every day.absolutely no place better for seeing ur closed friends & meeting new friends
Bartenders here are amazing! The juke box is the best in town! Coldest beer in a long days time!
I would love to give Buddy's 10 stars. Awesome hometown dive bar. They don't pretend to be anything else. But, if you're like most people, and you feel confederate flags are a symbol of negating the freedoms of others, then this is a place that will break your heart. You'll want to like it, but unless they are willing to realize their potential, they will forever be projecting an image of supporting the injustices of the world.
Great hole in the wall to just sit back and have a beer. Just like the old bars mom and dad used to hang out at. If you want to escape the “swank” and mingle with construction workers, cowboys, bikers, and good ol’ authentic folks while listening to old country music on a jukebox, then this is your place.
Great little beer bar. Can even bring in your own liquor and drink, but you have to buy the mixer there. No biggie. Great friendly people. You won't be disappointed.
This is an awesome little bar. There is two pool tables, three dart boards, a small stage, and a bunch of beautiful people and the the barkeep was cool and there's outdoor area with picnic tables and it's clean in there and there's some books to read about John Wayne and some dude with a Blue Beard was there oh wait that was me anyway this place was awesome and I liked it!
This place is a hidden germ. Behind closed doors there is magic of Texas, live music and real people. It's incredible place out of ordinary
