Paid in good faith online, payment approved and taken out of my account. Go to pick up, told I need to enter my pin for my card, after speaking with my bank, advised that a soft credit check was done, so I couldn't get the car. Now, I have to wait 3-10 business days for a refund.

By far the worst experience I have had with a location. The person working at the front desk on both occasions was so rude. Her attitude made it difficult to ask questions. I just wanted to get in and get out.

The first time, I rented from them I just tolerated it, however when calling to extend, she charged me more than my contracted rate. She dismissed me and told me I had to come in, return the car and rent it again. That made no sense.

I decided to cancel the extension and do it online, which was $70 cheaper. She said it was too late even though I never consented to the charge. Complete FRAUD. Since she couldn't or wouldn't do anything about it, I asked if I had to call corporate, she then decided to hang up the phone. Make sure you get prices before handing over your credit card.

I am currently waiting on hold for corporate and next I will call my credit card company if corporate doesn't fix it. Next time I will go to the West Oaks location

Crooked employees crooked individuals I have NEVER been billed for damage on a rental car. I turn the car in & everything is presumed to be fine. 4 months later I get a letter saying I being charged to repair a windshield. Bet you wont ever see that money. I will take you to court TRY ME.

My first vehicle kept shutting off when I was sitting in traffic so I called and they told me that there was no other vehicle available. I explained to him that I wanted to extend my service but not with the same inconvenient vehicle. He then said he could extend it but I had to keep the same vehicle. So I told him that I would just take it back. So I went online to try and reserve another vehicle for March14 thru March 28 and it said there was no vehicle for that period. So I reserved and paid for one to pickup up March 22. When I got to Budget I explained everything to the lady and she said I could extend and get another vehicle. Since I had already reserved and paid for March 22 I just extended for 8 days. So I had to waste time going back to budget to return and pickup again and had to pay a $250 dollar deposit when the vehicle was already paid for. Because I really needed the vehicle and already paid for it I went ahead and rented it. Not particularly happy with Budget.

Nice cozy little place. Very professional and easy to get with. No problem with renting a car. Rental car is clean and nice.

I appreciate that Budget did charge late fees due to the ice storm in Houston. HOWEVER, when I arrived to drop off the car at Hobby airport, I was charged $23 for fuel before the attendant even looked inside the car. I had to tell him that the car was filled with gas. (even though I had to go to 4 places to find gas in Houston). I think this is fraudulent and I am very disappointed. The Houston county judge told officials to look for this kind of thing during the ice storm.

Would not recommend this center. Car was not ready when we got there. It was dumped in the back, very dirty and not cleaned. Our trip got delayed due to this.
Lady at the counter was rude and unapologetic.

Renting a car was pain free. I reserved my rental online, picked up the following day and drove it to my destination. The prices are very reasonable and the customer service was great. I would rent from them again!

Vehicle maintenance was an immediate issue for me. Not blaming the staff for this minor setback, but more on the technician servicing the vehicle. As a mechanic myself I notice inadequacies from other technicians lack of effort. The vehicle rented out to me had a few issues. The passenger side of the vehicle had clear signs of neglect. Windshield fluid reservoir was empty, engine coolant reservoir was empty, air filter was impacted with road debris. Both front and rear wheels have damage to them, the side walls of the tires are ripped posing a safety issue. The rear tire also has a constant leak posing safety and reliability issue. Possible wheel alignment or wheel balancing is out, much vibration is felt in the steering wheel, not when breaking. A possible wheel hub or suspension issue in the rear driver side wheel can be heard at stop to start. Body damage fpd could be seen after washing the vehicle. The base of that door was covered in a thick vaseline type substance. A cigarette burn mark in the center console of a none smocking car was found after cleaning off jelly or jam along with numerous greasy fingerprints, some type of cheddar chips along with what look to be fried chicken skin crumblings. I personally detailed the vehicle before I drove it, every seat had visible residue from someone eating drinking or spilling something on top the backs of the seats. Large glob of road tar on passenger door could not be washed off. The windshield was spattered from someone sneezing or opening a shaken soda can. No floor matting was in the vehicle, so personal floor mats were used. The headlights were misaligned and unsafe to drive at night, I had them adjusted for safety. The driver side door appears to have been jimmied open. The door is not ceiling correctly and wind and whistling can be heard at highway speeds. Couldn't clear the Bluetooth registry until looking in the trunk by the spare tire, all booklets were found under the carpet. I have pictures of all issues if needed.

Veryyyyyyyy unprofessional! I recent rented a rav4 and they charged me $131.63 because I left they tank on half. I called customer service for them to state bs about $10 a gallon.smh if I could give them a negative star I would. I will never ever use this company again!

Reserved a moving truck. Only to show up and no trucks available.they made me waist my time.ended up getting a Uhaul and paying double. Horrible customer service.ignored my emails and calls.will never use Budget again.had to change my moving date.pay helpers and find a truck somewhere else.

If I could give a 0 rating that is what is really deserved! The initial reserved car was not at the original location as stated in our reservation. We had to go to another location to get a car like our time was not valuable. The sales clerk at initial reserved location did find another car for us but it was up to us to go there, out of our way and passed our reserved time, to pick up the vehicle which was 2 hours later than the reserved time. The car was dirty and smelled of smoke. When letting them know they acted as though we were just complaining. I would not recommend this facility if you are in anyway concerned for your health and safety during this pandemic as the inside of the vehicle clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned or disinfected. During our rental time the wiper fluid warning ️ and tire warning ️ was on due to no fluid at all and the tires were all on different pressure levels. Just ridiculous and complete bad service. When dropping off vehicle the sales person just made excuses and didn’t resolve anything for us, basically was like “oh well, sorry? ” We won’t be back, and this is in Sugar Land? !?

The lady at front, took great care of me. She was so nice, she asked me how my trip was, did i enjoy the drive and vehicle. In short, she was best at customer service management.

If I could give them negative stars they'd get all 5 from me! They are so incompetent they left me stranded for 17 hours over a FLAT TIRE and no spare in the car which caused me to miss vary important meetings causing me to make a return trip DURING covid! And had the nerve to try and charge me! Never rent from here!

The employees there are not much help or the brightest people in the company. By far the worst experience with this company so far besides from other inconveniences on my last trip with them. I will no longer use there services.

The car ran great and the price was good but the vehicle was filthy when I picked it up in Sugar Land, TX. The gas tank was not full but the interior was disgusting. Dog hair, candy wrappers, soda drink bottles with soda still in the bottles under the seat.

The location i go to, the employees are very professional. Mrs. Bell and her team are always above expectations when I come here. The office is very clean the cars are kept clean. Never have had a negative experience here and recommend this location to all my friends and family. Would like to thank you for the services especially during these hard times.

Terrible service! Only one person for a multitude waiting to get their rentals. There’s no service to avoid Covid19. I’ve been waiting here for an hour and haven’t seen any disinfecting job done at all. They promised counters regularly clean and that the vehicles gets a thoroughly cleaning which I doubt it from what I’ve seen.
