Budget Car Rental, McKinney TX

The car was returned with Full gas. Next day I received the receipt with notice that there was 10.8Gal out of 18. They charged me extra for Full gas. It was VERY BAD EXPERIENCE OF RENT!

Customer service has been second to none! The gentleman there was someone I hadn't met yet and he was very, very good.

They will charge you $9.99 per gallon if you don't return the car completely full. It doesn't matter if the fuel gauge registers full as they plug into the car and can determine if you are even 1.0 gallon shy of being full. We were charged $20 extra even though we filled up but then had to drive miles to the DFW rental returns. We won't be using Budget again.

Love the staff and convenience of being off the highway. Great service and rates. This is my permanent choice for all future rentals.

The folks at the Budget/Avis rental site in McKinney are the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional. I only rent at this location because of the employees. The company I rent from depends on price at the time. I've used both. This is the only site I will rent from.

I rented a car from Budget because my car is in the shop. The pick up and drop off process went smooth and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely return when needing a rental car and I recommend Budget to everyone.

Budget made the process very clear from reservation to pickup to return. The vehicle was a recent model year and well equipped for our 3,000 mile journey. I had confidence throughout the whole experience and would recommend this location as well as the overall Budget interactions.

Despite some confusion about where to pick up the rental (Avis has bought Budget, so I had to go to an Avis window), my ride was upgraded without extra cost and it was smooth sailing after that.

Anna at this location informed me that at noon (the time of my confirmed reservation) I would not be able to pick up my rental because they would be closed

My son were the one that rented from them overall from talking to him the service were outstanding quick check out and customer service were awesome way better than Enterprise wish there were in Sherman Texas which another rental bad keep up the good work Budget y'all are awesome.

First car that we got put in needed an oil change and had a flat tire, turned it back in and got another car. This vehicle was nicer but very dirty on the inside. Melted chocolate in the back seat and sticky spots from a soda. Never got an apology just a response from the lady saying it sounds like kids did that. After returning the 1st car, a suburban, I got $50 off.really? The first guy we dealt with kept saying how he hated California and if we were going anywhere to see about blowing up California or find a way to stop them from coming here.really? Unprofessional and not even funny

Customer service is a joke. I should have used enterprise as i normally do. Car leaks oil on my driveway at my new house. Waited an hour on hold to speak to someone who does not utilize the english language very well and then tells me that a supervisor will call me back.

As they say you get what you pay for.

Stay away, I dont leave many reviews because i think some are biased. Service at the location was good with no issues but if you need beyond that buyer beware.

Courteous, promt service, reasonable pricing. Everything as promised at pick up. Kaine is an excellent example!

No overnight parking which I didn't know until I got to rental office. Had to leave car in a neighboring retail parking lot. The Budget staff said there's no overnight parking because of the used car sales. Either be a used car lot or a rental car office, but not both. Exterior of car was dirty or rather looked like it had been washed but soap left to dry on windows. Office itself is dirty, dark and unpleasant. Please take down the plexiglass barriers too. I have rented from this place several times but this was my last time and I will not recommend.

Charged $100+ for being 1 hour over return time. Thieves. They did not drive us home after returning car.

Look at the other reviews that are 1 star everything they said is true. Car was filled with gas and then driven to the this location just for them to say it’s full but not full full…. Literally got gas near by to full but it’s not full full. Come on. Look else where if you are renting a car.

Terrible service by staff on May 21 in the AM, very unprofessional and demanding. I recommend to stay far, far away from this car rental place.

Reserved a car one month in advance. Showed up on 12/26 to pick up our car at 8: 00 am. I was told they did not have any cars so I would have to call their 800 number to get my prepaid refund. Not to mention our trip was cancelled since we did not have the car we reserved. Will not ever use Budget again.
