16Made a reservation. When I got to the airport they said they didn’t have any cars. The employees looked at me like I was crazy when I was confused and upset by this. Now stranded at the airport with no rental. Be aware reservations in advance does not mean they will rent you a car.
My concern is they show hours you can get a rental, but they closed at 7 pm. I took pictures of the scratches because the lady who service me said it was dark and she did not have the man power to go out and look at the car. They were not open Christmas Eve I left the car with keys and other information they required. I had to call on the 27th of December because I had not heard from them. Suppose to be getting the email resent. If everything is ok I won't send another review. Other than that everything went well.
I rented here 2 different times and both times the car I reserved and paid for in advance isn't available. The 1st time She kept offering me a truck, then another associate offered an upgrade. I made my pickup time for when they opened, and again, will have to take something else. I know it's an upgrade, so I appreciate it, but this car just didn't work for me. I couldn't adjust the seat enough and had to sit on a pillow. Also the car was so uncomfortable, we couldn't use it while I was visiting so it just sat at my sister's house instead of being driven.
This particular rental was very stained and not very clean inside. I don't rent enough to know if you can refuse a vehicle and since you walk out and locate it yourself, there is no one to ask.
It's not a Bad experience, it's just not a smooth experience. I'm sure the associate did what she has been trained to do.
They charged me over $400 for damages that weren’t even done to the car. They claimed the windshield was damaged but there were no damages before or after I returned it. I confirmed with customer service that there were no damages, so not sure why they would charge me for something they know didn’t happen. At first they told me the refund would happen in 72 hours, now they’re saying it’s going to be 15 business days. It seems a little fraudulent to me.
This is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had in my life. The two women working the counter at the Killeen airport on Sunday, September 24th are the most incompetent, lazy, rude and stupid people I have ever met and I’m not exaggerating in the slightest. We are stranded without a vehicle, a vehicle that was reserved and paid for almost a month ago, because these two overgrown toddlers are more concerned with playing on their phones and gossiping with eachother than trying to help us. We were denied a vehicle because, “It’s a new computer system and I don’t know how to do it. ” We were told to call customer service who couldn’t help us because the people at the counter are supposed to check us in. We were scheduled to pick up at 11: 30am. It’s now 1: 17pm, we’re still without a vehicle. I am in awe of the laziness and selfishness of these two women. This is my first time using Budget, and it’s absolutely my last. Please, if you’re reading this, please please please NEVER EVER EVER RENT HERE! Listen to the bad reviews. And if there’s any chance anyone in charge is reading this: If I had employees like the women working today, they would be fired so fast. This was at the Killeen airport, Sunday September 24th at 11: 30am. Please investigate these two if you care at all about your company.
Not got car I was promised. Car very difficult to drive. Very hard to pay for. Staff were poorly trained. Could not drive car.
First thing I would like to mention, is that there is no concierge services to pick you up or drop you off that I'm used to with Enterprise. This was a business trip, so I couldn't choose my preferred rental company. I personally feel like they gave me the worst car available. While driving the vehicle, it sounded like it had a cracked rim or flat tire, I had to blast the music just to hear and take calls on speaker phone instead of bluetooth because it was so loud. There were receipts in the car from a previous rental and the car didn't appear in the overall best conditions for my business trip. I wish I could have selected a different vehicle/company but I had to leave immediately for my trip and the representative that checked me in was running late & having system issues. I didn't want to delay my trip any further, as I had to drive 2 1/2hrs away
I can't go any lower. I started off with a dirty vehicle and things just went down hill from there. The site I was at couldn't replace the vehicle because they were all ready at a negative number of vehicles for the day. The manager was on vacation. Her boss was about as helpful as a paperbag in a rain storm. The national help line is about as helpful as a screen door on the bottom of a boat. This was an absolutely horrible experience

Worse car rental business in Killeen. They’re the only company that ADVERTISE debit card use, opposed to credit cards only like the rest of the rental agencies at the airport. I was unable to use my debit card because I wasn’t able to show some sort of bill with a matching address’. Which I understand, but that was not stated online nor was it able to be shown to me in writing in person. Every question I asked the response was, “ I’m not the manager or customer service, you’ll have to call this number” by the young lady at the desk.
Can't reach them by phone ever, car dirty, needs oil change, washer fluid empty, tire needed air twice and all they said is we will make notes to have it checked out
The website will let you choose a date, time and a vehicle that is not available. When we arrived we were told you have to book 24 hours in advance and they did not have any vehicles available even though my card was already charged and we were provided a confirmation number. Website should not let you book when nothing is available.
I use Budget Car Rental because of its great customer service, affordabke prices, and well maintained vehicle fleet.
If I can give this place NO stars I would! They provided me with a car that had a cracked windshield. That THEY were aware of then send me a bill for it a month later! Thank goodness I have pictures and videos to back up my claim! If you HAVE to rental from here like I did my advice is TAKE PICTURES AND VIDEOS OF EVERYTHING! Every LITTLE DETAIL!
I recently rented a car from Budget and had an outstanding experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the whole process was smooth and easy. The car was in excellent condition and very clean. I especially appreciated the great value for the price - Budget offered competitive rates and included all the necessary insurance coverage. I also appreciated the flexibility with the rental period, as my plans changed a few times and the staff was very accommodating. Overall, I highly recommend Budget for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable rental car service.
They were very busy with only one person working and they were out of cars, but it was still a pleasant experience overall.
