Budget Host Inn and Suites, Sugar Land TX

From several years ago they truly have stepped their game up. Before I couldn't even ask for house keeping, it was done while I was out eating. I'd stay here longer than 2 days next time 10

Average motel. Clean but the water in the shower is very weak.

I knew by coincidence that complementary breakfast (coffee, muffins, and banana) is offered. It is mentioned anywhere.

Not the best room I've slept in, but it wasn't bad, smelled clean, it was only built a few years ago I think, only complaint is that I don't think they mopped the floor in the rest room, but over all I had a pleasant experience, always maintained the room, the room always smelled clean, and the front desk was always friendly.

2 stars for clean rooms but poor management

i’ve been staying here for days at a time only because it’s cheap, but management is very rude and almost harassing every morning and night. The first time i tried to book a room here, the manager lied and said all rooms were booked when we saw a bunch of open rooms. There was a party here with (black) teens and saw another black person coming to book a room and automatically denied us. We went across the street and stayed at the crystal inn. The next day i booked a room here and the room was very nice. I understand that check out is @ 11am but the manager will call you at 11: 05 and be at your room door by 11: 06 to tell you, you need to check out. I asked to book another night and his tone and demeanor was very hostile and room when i asked to book another night. I try to keep my distance from management because i feel uncomfortable with them up my behind every 10-15 minutes. I could ignore everything but the other day, my partner and i got a room 5am and 6 hrs later the manager was at our door saying we have to check out, the same day we checked in. It didn’t make any sense to me that we payed $70 for only 6 hrs.we should’ve had a full night. We argued with him for a good 10 minutes before my partner went downstairs to book another night. When my partner came back upstairs he told me about his experience down there. The manager said no smoking in the room, you can’t smoke in the room. My partner is a black man with locs.i’m not saying it was a racist thing but that’s exactly what i am saying. We do not smoke.and if we did, we would smoke outside.it was a very unnecessary comment to make ESPECIALLY because we’ve stayed here before and we see all the no smoking signs on all the room doors.

Stay away! Terrible customer service they accuse you of smoking in room from previous guest. States they are a non smoking hotel but rooms reeked of cigarettes. I Don’t live in Houston. Was there for a funeral and the inconvenience they put us through was just terrible.

Nice clean affordable. The most important aspects of a comfortable stay. The air conditioner did not get as cold as I need it to be. The room temp was comfortable just not cold

My sister was stranded in an abusive relationship and they refused her service. She passed. Only if they would of given her a room. Rude and unprofessional heartbreaking and devastating how they treated a woman. Rest Easy Love ️

I m absolutely satisfied with everything that the BUDGET HOST INN & SUITES had to offer. Great spacious rooms, clean, customer service was great as well. They have become my new go to when in need of hotel service at an amazingly affordable price.

I was very surprised to find this hotel is super nice. The walk-in shower was the best. The staff was very friendly. 10/10 would stay there again.

Place was clean and felt safe. The guy at the front desk wasn't that polite but wasn't rude either. Overall, a decent place to spend the night.

Horrible manager/staff

We were affected by the disaster that happened in Houston, fortunately we got a room. The rooms were clean and decent for the price. Our first horrible experience was with the cleaners, they do a terrible job and when you tell them what to do they get angry. We stayed for three weeks and one night the manager called and told us not to hit the floor that those under us complained. Immediately I warned my kid’s not to hit the floor hard while walking, in fact I told them to go to bed early. They kept calling me that the people are still complaining, I told the manager that my kids are sleeping and he yelled at me and said I should leave in the morning. I asked him what did we do? We have been here for weeks and he told me he does not care and we need to leave by 11: am the next morning. He was so rude, inconsiderate, arrogant, they do not have many staff in there, looks like the manager lives there with his family and they are his staff.
Everyone avoid this place. He had the audacity to tell me this is not a house nor apartment that I should leave just for no reason. I will like to talk with anyone superior to him because this is what they do.

Excellent! The room was very clean with very comfortable bed. The staff were professional and courteous which means that they care about the customers. This place deserves a great recommendation and rating.

Wasn't bad stayed here for a day room was excellent bed too.even bathroom they kept clean would recommend 9/10.it was worth it.even super close to my neighborhood

Nice new rooms, good rates, parking for my Hotshot rig. Didn't like AC off and took most of the night to cool down. No in room coffee maker and had to go down to office to get instant coffee. Night manager was helpful and came out to help me position my truck 8n a good parking space.

The rooms are spectacular! Very comfortable and perfectly clean. Staff is very professional and helpful. Thank you for the beautiful stay!
