Walked in here to sell two bags of name brands clothes, shoes, and purses and immediately walked out. Terrible customer service, smalls weird and old, overpriced used clothes, and the whole place is outdated and dirty. Find an Uptown Cheapskate.

Cute stuff.the store is clean and well managed.also the items are nicer and newer.especially the shoes.

I went to sell some of my clothes, and they didn't take anything, even when most things were in excelent conditions.that was kind of a downer. I do understand that they have a style and all ‍️

Besides that, I didn't really like the store, it had a strange smell, and didn't look very clean.
I was able to find some clothes that I really liked, it wasn't as cheap as I had expected
I found a pair of shoes that looked new, but were extremely dirty.that put the rest of the store in perspective, tbh

If I need clothing and I'm in the area, I might go back, because I could find useful items

Great place to get rid of any excess of clothing. Store was well organized and staff was friendly.

This is not the place it used to be. Employees don't care. They look straight forward. If they talk, it is mostly almost themselves. I don't know what changed. I might start looking elsewhere.

Don’t waist your time and risk your life at this place like I did. The neighborhood is really dangerous and the store doesn’t have any security. Plus, the employees are so pretentious and act like they are better than you, they didn’t even look all the things I brought and said that nothings was good to sell. All the clothes are from great brands like Polo and Calvin Klein and basically new and some still have tags on them. So I started posting and selling them online and now I’m making more money than I would’ve made over there. DONT WAIST YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS STORE!

I walked out when I saw the over priced items that where not that far from getting them brand new. Jeans $17 and up regular graphic Tshirts $12 and up same shirts you find at Walmart and target for $15. Did not find anything under $10 and if it was, very visible warn out. I would not recommend might as well get it brand new.

Montrose is known as resale central. This place is a must visit when in the area. Usually when I’m cleaning out my closet, I like to visit to see if I can make a little extra spending money or have lots of trade in value for my next pair of victim sneakers in the store. Always great selection excellent customer service. I will continue to come back to the one and only Montrose Buffalo exchange

Fatphobic! I brought in multiple pieces they said they “wanted” on their sell board. ‘Maxi dresses, tshirts, trendy dresses, suede pieces’ but when the second person doing the approval came to buy. She said no. Now I think it’s because it was all bigger than size L. Which turned out to be true. The xL here is not true to size. Some stuff had tags on them!

Found a cute pair of black boots, the music selection was pretty bomb and the cashier was pretty stylish. Sorry, I was really tired! I wanted to say something about your spooky aesthetic but my peopling meter was dead lol

Will definitely visit again. Hopefully I can find a cute skirt or sweater next time!

When I said I wanted to cash out (twice), the cashier asked me if I wanted cash or credit and I said credit since I thought there was a card option
He just straight up gave me a gift card. Like, how is a gift card a credit? First of all, you need to use it at a specific store. Secondly, you don’t have money in a credit card but you do for gift card right?
As soon as I saw he took the gift card, I told him to stop but he scanned before checking with me

At this point, I think they just want us to buy their stuffs

Fantastic place for browsing. They have everything from vintage items to the latest fashions. Decent prices for unique items. Some of the things had stains though, which is pretty disappointing. I'd expect to have to inspect things thoroughly at the thrift but you'd wish that at a dedicated clothing store the employees would do that.

This was my first time visiting here to sell clothing. I cleaned out my closet. My arms were full and forgot to take pictures You walk in and sit in a row of chairs & wait to your called. The lady checked my ID to add me to their system. They thoroughly inspect your clothing and are looking for specific types of clothing and shoes. Unfortunately none of my jeans or shoes were accepted. No skinny jeans, no skinny heels.from looking around it appears they want my old t-shirts, tennis shoes, work out sweat suits and mini skirts.
The customer service was great and the wait was less than 30 minutes.

I’m so happy I finally decided to check this place out- it’s totally an underrated gem in my opinion. Absolutely adored my selling and browsing experience today. The manager and buyers behind the counter were so incredibly sweet and I had such a wonderful time talking with them throughout the process of selling my items.

All of the employees including the dracula girl need training in dealing with all types of people. I'm tired of saying maybe it's just Texas. People most of u are not going to be here in ten years grow up stop lying to yourselves.we are all human and shouldn't be treated with disregard or disrespect. I don't recommend this store at all.

Honestly if you want to sell clothes here and waste your time be my guest but you can get more bang for your buck down the street (pavement) or even standing on the street corner and advertising. Worst place for resell. The stuff they have in stock is NOT in trend unfortunately
