Build-A-Bear Workshop, Waco TX

My 3 year old and 6 year old niece made their own bears and got lots of accessories, super cute and fun!

Love going here. Staff is helpful and they have a very cute selection of outfits for your bears

What a great experience took my grandson for the first time the employee Jasuling was so friendly and helpful thank you very much for making my baby so happy

Staff was nice and friendly. Made sure our 1.5 year old daughter had fun picking out her own special bear with daddy.

Went inside store to look around, it was a hot day and they had a high powered fan that felt wonderful.i had made a joke to my mother beside me saying “if i worked here i would stand in front of this fan all day” in a very obvious joking manner as we were having a private conversation about the fan.the lady behind the counter, who was checking out a guest (had dark hair and glasses, was definitely 50+) said in a very loud, aggressive voice “ABSOLUTELY NOT! YOU WILL BE WORKING IF YOU WERE TO WORK HERE! YOU WOULD WORK YOU WOULDNT STAND NOWHERE! ” i was genuinely taken back by the tone of her voice, especially since she was checking out a guest who also looked appalled by the nature of her comment.i took a step back and walked away quickly as i was very uncomfortable and my mother was very distraught because of how uncomfortable i had become.we no longer felt welcome and as we walked out my mother said “that was too aggressive and unnecessary” to which the worker responded “oh i was just kidding! But you would be forced to work if you worked here but j wasn’t aggressive! ” and once again, she was still behaving this way in front of another guest.i will not shop from the richland mall location should i ever see her working as i was made to feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable and felt personally attacked if i am quite honest.we all have bad days, but this was unprofessional in a massive way ESPECIALLY in a place meant to be full of joy for both children and adults.please, speak with your staff on professionalism and the comments they should and shouldn’t make towards guests.

Not the selection i thought they would have. Great customer service! They didn't have the ability to make the birth certificates. Overall still a favorite!

Staff is amazing. Went to get my girlfriend a bear and experienced the magic of two young children creating their stuffed animals - the lady was so kind and enthusiastic to them it brought back memories of childhood bliss. God bless them.

If you have kids you know the joy they get from building own bear, I hate the cost but love the idea. People are always friendly

Pleasant employee, clothes selection seems specialized and not much variety. It would be nice to see more single items like skirts, shirts, pants.

Their staff is super nice, and well-mannered. Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be.

Make sure you call before you go if you want sounds or voice recording to go in your bear. Assuming they would have the normal things a build a bear has we drove 50 mins from fort hood to put my husbands voice into a bear before he deploys. They did not have one.

Was amazing got my husband a adorable bear. And they had the outfit i needed for his bear and all accessories needed.

I love build a bear because after my grandfather passed away I got a bear with his voice and ever since I treated the bear like he was my own son

Came here on Saturday at 11: 50am when store should have been opened and it was closed! Completely disappointed especially during the holiday time. There was a sign posted clearly stating they open at 11am!
