Bullock Museum IMAX Theatre reviews
17Great Imax experience- true 1: 43: 1 aspect ratio. Digital projection - amazing sound. No assigned seats though so you do have to get there early. For opening week of Oppenheimer we got there an hour early and got great seats. Best to sit just above the center in the middle. They also let us in very early which was nice- we were only in line for maybe 20 min.
Great theatre with amazing sound and visuals. Wish they had seat reservations so you don't have to show up an hour before the movie to get good seats
The screen was great. Seats uncomfortable, and they made everyone wait in line outside with a heat advisory in effect. Kinda weak.
Loved the real 3D experience.you have to see to believe it.other 3D theaters don't even come close to the experience here. The sound and picture quality are the best in town
Comfortable theatre. No bad seats can be accessed from first or second floor. Handicap seating.
Great theatre.watched oppenheimer here and had a great time.staff is incredibly efficient and helpful.comfortable seating and high quality experience!
Very cool building and great picture opportunity in front of the star. The gift store inside was very well stocked with a large selection.
Best imax I've been to. Employees are super kind, theater is clean. And drinks aren't a huge rip off. Great 1: 1.43 dual laser screen too.
Very nice screen. Loved the theater. Only drawback is you can’t reserve seats so have to waste a lot of time getting in before everyone else
Theater was oversold for Oppenheimer. It was fine for us but there were people sitting in the isles and in the back. Also, theater was 65 degrees. I noticed everyone was sitting on their hands for warmth. Honestly just waited for the movie to be over to warm up.
Watched Oppenheimer, one of my best experiences at a theater. Huge screen of course, beautiful venue.
Saw Oppenheimer at the Bob Bullock museum. THE ONLY WAY TO SEE IT! Stunningly great sound system and screen. WOW!
Only complaint is that it is so tight in there. Love that there is plenty of seating. Unfortunately, if you're seeing a 3 hour movie like Oppenheimer, careful where you sit, the middle, most ideal seats for viewing are also incredibly hard to leave or return to mid/ after the film.
Loved the experience, but the seats can use some improvement. Everyone in our group complained of knee pain after the movie (3 hr long movie). The space to put your legs was extremely limited and you couldn't really stretch out. I would recommend IMAX for shorter films, but maybe not for the longer ones just because it becomes uncomfortable after around 1.5 hours in. The concession line moved quickly, got 2 large drinks and a candy for $15.
The sound and the picture are dynamite, as you would expect, but it is beyond time for those seats to be uograded to something a little bit more comfortable for longer features. Shout-out to the awesome employees at the gate and in concessions. Really pleasant folks!
Best theatre I've been to by far! Hardly ever crowded. It's worth it even though you have to pay for parking and deal with downtown traffic. Only minor complaint is the concession stand is lacking.
This is THE place to see science fiction or science history movies. Besides the huge screen, the audio quality is amazing
