Stay far away from this place! We purchased one of their homes in Tampa, FL. To say that the buying process was a disaster would be an understatement. We almost walked away 3 times. To add to it, the workmanship (if you can even call it that at this point) is some of the worst we have ever seen. We have spent SO much money on repairs in this "newly renovated" house to fix the very poor work done prior to us purchasing. One example is they put glued down vinyl floors throughout the house which means they couldn't lay a moisture barrier underneath (in one of the most humid areas of the country!), nor did they remove any construction debris, so the floors were uneven, bumpy, installed terribly, and there was a smell to them. Turns out, there was water underneath the floors and most likely mold was starting to develop. Therefore, we had to pay to have the floors ripped out and fully replaced within the first 2 weeks of living in this house. That was a fun added expense on top of the already overpriced house. Oh, and their 90 day post close warranty is a joke - don't fall for it like we did. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a home from Bungalo.

BUYERS BE WARNED. To say that this place should be shut down would be an understatement. From start to finish buying a home from Bungalo was a disaster. This whole experience has been borderline traumatic if I'm being honest. They encourage you not to use a realtor so that they can get away with sketchy business practices and nonchalant closings. Right down to having a random girl who works in the office sign on title and loan paperwork she had no legal right to sign for. They don't allow you to haggle which is fine BUT they also don't hold true to their 30 days policy for repairs. The man in charge of the sale, Juan was so unresponsive it was almost laughable, the only redeeming person I spoke to at this place was the young girl working in his office. And the icing on the cake for us was when they came to take down all of the for sale signage off the property they ripped off a bunch of paint off the front door and just left it for us after we signed our paperwork. They promised to resolve this after the closing but they never came back to fix it. (we have contacted them 5 times to resolve this to no avail) Not to mention at the closing we were denied access to our keys to our new home because they hadn't LEGALLY finished signing their paperwork. Long story short- if you do decide to buy from them get a realtor and do your research but I would highly suggest against it. Our home is beautiful and we are happy to be here regardless of the headache but definitely will be warning anyone I can to stay away from them.

We purchased a single family home from Bungalo in Charlotte. Having lived in the home for the past 2 years, we felt we should write this review with the quality of work that bungalo and team did with the house. We haven’t had any issues since we moved in, and whenever we had questions, the team was always prompt in responding. It makes a difference to see the added touches that bungalo adds to the overall process of home buying and we would recommend them to others as well

Stay the heck away from this company if you want a smooth home buying experience. Nonchalant and unprofessional at every step of the way, contingency items and repairs NOT completed by closing, lack of communication and a laundry list of other issues. These people are not local to your city and therefore do not care about the transaction nearly as much as you do - and it's evident right away. Zero regard for your schedule (trying to postpone closing the MORNING OF due to not completing repairs). This company represents everything wrong with the corporate homebuying takeover that's exploded since 2020.
