Burger Tex, Houston TX

The ribeye steak is basically a piece of ham, and it's not even a ribeye. Had to try and fill up on the fries, they weren't good either. To finish it off they don't want to turn on the AC, felt hotter inside than outside

I enjoy the burgers at Burger Tex. I have come to frequent the Burger Tex in Pasadena, Texas and wanted to see if this particular store was the same. I wasn’t disappointed. The burgers were just as good as those at the other location, and price was the same as well. I would definitely return as well.

Nice inside and clean. I got the bacon burger it was really good I got everything on it. I was not disappointed.

Always a good meal here. Burgers seasoned and cooked well. Grilled chicken had delicious flavor and tender. Sometimes shrimp is over fried, but when it's great you'll love it. Friendly staff and decent price for amount of food/flavor. Popular stop for workers on a lunch break, but check hours because they close early.

Everything I have had here is excellent. They even have liquid cheese to pour over your fries till your heart's content. I'm bringing my wife here for our next date!

Burgers are amazing! The buns are toasted and the patty is tasty. The bulgogi burger is very good. Also the huge onion rings are the made from scratch. Highly recommend!

My go-to place for lunch in this area. Burgers are always juicy and made to order, buns are delicious and fries are nice and crisp. One of my favorite burger joints in Houston for sure.

I had the 6oz mushroom burger with onion rings and some wings. The burger was great with plenty of cooked mushrooms, and the toppings bar looked fresh. Now to talk about the onion rings. FANTASTIC! They were crispy with a hint of pepper in the breading. They were cooked to perfection and best of all NOT GREASY! The wings were huge, and had great flavor. I had the BBQ and Buffalo sauces. Overall, this meal would be tough to beat. If you have the opportunity, make sure to give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

This was my second time to try out this great local hamburger joint! Both times I’ve been thrilled with the hot, fresh, and tasty food!

The burger is made in the classic Texas Diner way with a nice, crispy texture. Both the top and bottom buns are toasted. I got mine with cheese and bacon! Here they offer a condiment bar which allows you to dress your burger the way you want! Mayo, mustard, hot sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, picked jalapeño, pico de Gallo, and even melted cheese sauce! They offer disposable gloves for those who don’t wish to share utensils.

The first time, I opted for onion rings - they were substantial, with a thick coating. Great flavor, but maybe a little too much breading for my taste.

The fries are nice and thick crinkle cut with a good crunchy exterior and a dash of seasoning salt to top them off!

They also offer fried fish and shrimp, and selection of plate lunches - from ribeyes and Tbones to pork chops abs chicken!

Definitely check them out!

It would’ve been nice to try it. This is the second time I’ve come to this location, within the last 30 days, and it’s been closed. I tried to call ahead and didn’t get an answer. I arrive and the door is locked by 2: 18. Don’t bother running a business if you’re going to be closed during the “open hours. ”
Also, the employee went to empty the tea as I drove away—it’s a great look. Photo was taken at 2: 22.

It's equip for social distancing the burger was great it was my first time there it was tasty i well be back

Best burger and fries I've had in Houston! I've gone back 3 times in the last 2 weeks after the first visit was so good!
