Burg's Corner reviews
9Awesome place to buy your jams and jellies. Also fresh garden veggies, pecans and so many other goodies! And the people there are very nice and helpful. I will be back!
Extremely rude people I went the last minute, which yes was my fault. But they actually were the rudest. People have ever met.all of them will never go back. And to add that the peaches I bought were outrageously expensive and when I got them home. They were ALL mushy and milly not good at all. But most importantly, the people were actually the rudest Business I've ever been into.
We stopped on the way to Fredericksburg out of pure guess work to try peach ice cream and turned out to be a good experience.
The quantity is good.
Word of caution before visiting, if you want to buy peaches, the season is from May-September,
But you can buy fresh pears, tomato, cucumber, Jam and pickle farm fresh here.
Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday but open on weekends. HappyVisiting.
I love this place, they are super nice and everything in the store is of great quality. They have Volleman’s milk. I need to try the ice cream, I haven’t yet!
Burg's Corner, located near Fredericksburg, exceeded my expectations when I was on the lookout for a great place to enjoy ice cream in the area.
The shop is spacious and offers an impressive variety of products, including jam, spreads, wine, bread, fresh vegetables, diffusers, gourmet items, and even meats.
I decided to try their peach ice cream, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. What's more, a single scoop of this delightful treat was generously portioned, easily shareable between two people, and reasonably priced at around $4.
I also purchased a small bottle of their peach butter spread, which, while a little sweet, was quite enjoyable.
Please note that the shop is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but they welcome customers on other days until 5 pm. The staff provided friendly and helpful customer service throughout my visit.
In summary, I highly recommend Burg's Corner for their delectable ice cream and the diverse range of products they offer. It's a hidden gem in the area that shouldn't be missed.
Is that guy in the food trailer out back is gone serve food he should wear gloves when handling food. That's a health code violation
Always has the best peaches for a decent price. After going there for the past 40 years, we would not go anywhere else.
I've been coming to Burgs since I was a kid. It's always a treat to cool off with their ice cream (with fresh peaches if you're into that!) and everyone loves their cider and fresh produce.
Burg's corner was the only place we could find that had peaches available. It was kind of late in the afternoon, so all the others were sold out. We got fresh peach ice cream and a 7-layer cookie square. Everything was good.
