4.5/5
Food was great. Service wasn't that bad either. Atmosphere is 4 because they're currently renovating.

Had a fantastic time at Burnin92 korean BBQ. Both servers were super friendly and helpful. Try their lamb skewers – they're amazing! Great combo options for groups. The place has a cool vibe, perfect for a tasty meal with friends. Highly recommend!

AVOID Burnin92 due to rude service. Not sure if the ownership has changed since the last time we dined? Despite low expectations at Asian restaurants, my recent experience was very unpleasant. They claim to be open till 2am on a Saturday night. We had a 4 top. Despite being the only table, the server was inattentive and burnt 2 courses of meat. The last course, the meat was actually ablaze causing a mini fire. She wasn’t tending the grill, so I quickly grabbed the tongs and removed the meat from the grill. When she returned instead of apologizing she remarked “let me take away the charcoal because I can see that it’s scaring you” dismissive and total lack of regard for safety. An hour before closing, she presented the check. Music was abruptly cut 45 minutes before close, an aggressive tactic to hasten customers. 15 minutes before close, another server wanted to bus our table, while we were still eating. Spending $200+, dining out is a luxury; better service is expected. Consider alternatives like JOA, Korryo Kalbi, and Ari for quality meat and hospitality at a similar price point. We will not be returning to Burnin92.

A note to management: We are easy diners and did not intend on camping past closing time. Please train your staff for better steps of service and guest appreciation. Dining out is a hard-earned luxury; if empathy is lacking, consider a different profession. If you truly wish to rectify the issue and want more details please dm me.

Me and my family had a great experience despite the busy hour the servers were very attentive. Changed our grill on time and food was amazing. They were taking care of every thing we need. 10/10 recommend. Definitely be back.

High quality meat cuts, different from the usual KBBQ chains. Very well ventilated. Charcoal grill.

This place is such a hidden game!
I love how they season all the meat. And all their side dishes taste awesome, too!
My server was extremely nice and helpful. She helped us grill the food and was quick and very attentive.
I love the idea that they offer food combos for couple and group of 3-4 people. Very nice idea! It helps save me a lot of time thinking and choosing what to eat! Also, the combo also comes with lots of choices and side dishes. I could not ask for more! We spend around $40 per person plus tax and tip, for a table of 3 people in total.

Will be back here again to try their skewers, they look good but I was too full to try them: - (
Keep you your good work, Burnin92!

Tasty charcoal grill BBQ with a powerful venting fan that goes directly above the grill. There are many dishes besides BBQ: soup, skewers, and beef salad (raw beef topped with raw egg, eaten with strips of pear).

Where do I start? This Korean BBQ restaurant is an amazing addition to old K-town in dallas. The lump charcoal fired grill, the choice cuts of meat like wagyu and LA Galbi are damn tasty. Also, they have kimchi pancakes that are not only delicious, but the size of a pizza. This is not an all you can eat place, but the serving size will definitely fill you up. The amount of money you spend here will be the same as what you would pay for at the popular all you can eat places.

Reasonably priced meat combos but banchan could definitely use some improvement. Overall would recommend just for the grilled items. Friendly service.

09/2023 Update: still over charcoal but unfortunately on a Saturday night, the meal was disappointing. We were barely checked on and our fire died on the last pieces of meat. They need to have table buzzers again to call for staff. Seafood pancake recipe has changed; no longer thick but thin. This used to be my favorite. The flank steak was not high quality. Side dishes were okay.

08/2022: It is over charcoal! I have missed meat cooked over charcoal since it seemed most KBBQ places in DFW converted to the heating plate. The meat tasted pretty good, different flavors than from a heating plate. We also got the cheese corn and kimchi pancake. The cheese corn was alright. They use a call light whenever you need service so that’s helpful.

I was excited to try this place as my husband really loves lamb skewers and I’m always trying to find places in tx that sell authentic feeling korean food for him. I stumbled across this place and decided to give it a try, the lamb skewers weren’t too bad I actually enjoyed them. I ordered a corn cheese and as I was eating I found a hair in the cheese, it was tangled up in the cheese and I had to separate it to show the waitress. It wasn’t mine nor my husbands hair. The waitress didn’t even apologize for the hair in the food, she just gave us a new one. The staff wasn’t that great, i understand it was nearly the end of the day and they could be tired but I just didn’t feel the atmosphere of the restaurant was the best. Probably won’t come here again

Absolutely phenomenal experience. The pork belly is succulent and the short rib savory. The kimchi is delicious and using it in the lettuce wraps with sweet and sour onion, jalapeño, and meats is fantastic. The sauces are perfect. I will certainly be back soon.

Meat quality was great with very tender and flavorful cuts. They use real charcoal which provides intense heat for a good char and a hint of smokiness.

Our server, receipt cashier “Rach”, was great. She was very attentive and nice with the kiddo.

Overall it was a good meal but expected better portions for the price.
