Bush's Chicken reviews
2230 minutes for 1 order of chicken livers and they came out with the wrong order first, then the correct order was cold. The Manager was just standing there watching everything happen and never said a word. Nacogdoches location
USUALLY never have any problems with this location BUT this trip was different. We ordered the family meal and both our sides were fries. We checked our order (thankfully) and we were missing ALL of our fries.once we got an employees attention they were sweet and brought back ONE side order of fries.then had to wait for our OTHER order of fries ONLY time we've been disappointed with the service but the food was delicious as always!
Well, they don't give you old chicken here. (meaning, slightly warm and non crunchy)
And its delicious, the fries hot and crunchy as well. Good service. Not pricey.
Ordered 8 piece livers and gizzards, Received livers that were so dry that shrunk to very small. Gizzards were good. Ordered 4 piece tenders and they were nice and big but very dry. Highly disappointed.usually good food, not this time. Sunday around 3: 30 pm.
The food is great except every time I order the Mac and cheese is like a soup. Not thick like it should be. C'mon Bushes you can do better than this
Food was OK. Not usual Bush's quality. The fries were undercooked and the rolls were dry. Also, the service was not great. The server was headed to our minivan and veared toward a Mustang instead that had been in line behind us and helped them instead.
Gave Bush's another try after not ordering for a while. Used Door Dash, food arrived with a note saying they were out of poppers, said they'd tried to call (but left no message). Order arrived with liquidy macaroni and cheese as the popper replacement, underdone rolls, and overcooked chicken. 65 dollars down the drain as the "manager" said they could replace the order - no thank you, not more of the same. Supposedly no one had complained about the soupy mac&cheese, I guess my family was the lucky recipient. His only recommendation was to contact Door Dash, that'll be the next step. I'm not saying don't order, just pick it up yourself and check your order before departing their establishment. For me personally, I've given Bush's their last opportunity.
About 2 years ago My husband took me here for the first time & I fell loved the chicken.
Key word loved but as of lately their quality of food have gone down hill
Their wings have been looking like they have been sitting out all day & burnt!
I am not sure what’s going on but this is NOT ok
We go here at least once a week for the wings special, we’ve decided to stop going!
HORRIBLE I TELL YALL HORRIBLE!
Mac n' cheese is garbage, food made my entire family sick. This is the worst experience I've had with Bush's chicken, I'll never eat Bush's again.
Gosh one of the best chicken places in town.
Go on Tuesday if you aim to feed a family, they have an incredible deal on Tuesday that gives you a lot of value for a strangely low price.
One of the crispiest chicken places in town as well, with some nice fries, and INCREDIBLE sweet rolls.
If you’re looking for good chicken swing by the drive through and one of their friendly staff will quickly get your food and payment.
They credit card machines never work, cldnt pay for my food.upgrade your systems plz, this don’t happen to McDonald’s
I have only tried their tender strips, that's generally the only kind of chicken I ever order at fast food places and these are pretty good. Very consistent, quality wise, and I've never gotten any that were cold or sitting under the warmers too long.
Fries are standard fare crinkle cut spuds, good when they're hot and fresh, dip well in the gravy, which they give you plenty of with your order.
Where this place really shines is with their Tender Tuesday deal. It's a generous serving of 16 tenders, 4 rolls, and a whole lot of gravy for $12. Can't beat it.
Also, their sweet tea is bar none the best around. Ask for the spice "Serendipity" seasoned salt when you order, too. It's not that hot, but has a good flavor to it. You can get the regular one too, if you're one of those people that think mayonnaise is spicy.
The drive thru is not like a traditional one, you don't order through a microphone, rather, they come out to your vehicle and take your order, then come back a little while later with your fried chicken goodness. There are two lanes next to the restaurant to line up at, and they're pretty good at serving each car in the order they arrive. Be considerate and ask for any extras (like the seasoned salt) while you order and save them an extra trip back in, rather than when they deliver the goods. It's just being courteous.
Love the chicken, the sides, not so much but the ppl lace was clean the staff and service was good too.
Fries was cold and the chicken tenders looked like chicken nuggets they were so small it was a horrible meal for my husband and I! And we did take pictures
We have been to this location often and have only had an issue with our order once. I called the apologized and once I made it back they threw in a free gallon of sweet tea. Gizzards are always a go to for me along with the chicken and okra. My son enjoys the strips with Mac n cheese. Good prices and the do offer a Military Discount. Anything you can save is always a plus.
Came to this store tonight of all nights and felt completely out of place. I was not acknowledged as a customer I stood in line when it was only one other person in front of me for at least 5 minutes and no one ever asked to take my order all I wanted was a
gallon of tea I called the manager and she apologized and said that they were short one person but they look fully staffed with everyone that was standing around in there looking at me. I took myself and my money to a real business that appreciate there customer.
They needed to have someone that takes orders, that is paying attention to customers waiting to order. To many times I saw people waiting to order. While the whole staff was facing the food. And not once were the people waiting were acknowledged that they were there. I even saw a family of six wait zverev then leave because of that. Then I heard one of the girls say you left them leave. The dad told his kids that they didn't have time to waste standing around. They were there waiting for a while, watching all the employees backs waiting to fill orders.
The new baked chicken is to die for and their sides are always delicious and the rolls are also likewise delicious BUSH'S is the bomb! You actually get a whole white meat BREAST! Not some diced and chopped thing that you can't figure out is it a breast or not?
2nd bad experience in a row and never going back. The tenders were awful, small, over-cooked and hard. Also, mashed potatoes tasted terrible like they were scorched. As with the first time we ate there, we are sick again with an upset stomach. Should’ve had a sandwich at home, would’ve been much better.
For a place that has a staff of primarily young people, they have incredible service. The chicken is always perfect and out to you very quickly. I went to sonic afterwards to get my picky brother what he wanted and we were there for 20 minutes. This place is quick and friendly. Also, Tender Tuesday is a must!
