Butterlove Biscuits, Amarillo TX

The 2 star review is mostly because of the service. The food was ok but would have been better if the biscuits and gravy were hot and if the eggs were cooked as ordered. The eggs were ordered over easy and came out like a boiled egg. When the long bearded man (who was the manager/owner) brought the recooked eggs out he just threw them down and loudly said ‘there ya go’. There are too many choices in this town to not be nicer than that. Would I go back? Maybe. If it’s my choice it won’t be for a very very long time. I will choose a place with friendly customer service and a place that is willing to happily correct the order especially when spending $30 for 2 people for breakfast.

What a fun little place! Great atmosphere and good food. I had acovado toast that i wasn't too impressed with - the price was far too high for the small, single slice of bread I received with a dollop of avocado. It was 7.50. But other people's plates look like the amount of food was fair for the price.

Our favorite brunch spot! Everything we have tried has been very good. Eggs Benedict, The Hott Mess, are some of our favorites. If you haven't been, you have to try it out!

Service and atmosphere were fine. The biscuits we got out of the case were good, but almost like eating cake they were so sweet. The biscuits and gravy that came with my meal were terrible though. Everything, even the eggs, was incredibly bland. The biscuit was tough and dense. Gravy and eggs had no flavor. I’ve given this place a few chances each time hoping it will be better, but this isn’t it.

Grate service however this go round the tables were dirty and my bacon was cold and tuff. Tables I can understand but for the price of eating there, there shouldn't be those issues. Still love it tho

I don't generally complain but after reading the reviews I had high expectations for this place. Unfortunately we ordered their signature cinnamon bun biscuit and it was hard and dense. They kindly swapped it out for the dough balls. The first glazed one was okay and the others were raw inside. Same for the cinnamon sugar ones we also had coffee and the hot mess breakfast sandwich, it was mediocre. The silverware in the bin had food stuck on it after the wash! Sorry, but not worth it.

I ordered the heaven to Betsy and it was very good. The fried chicken was a A plus, the biscuit was delicious, the arugula wasn’t wilted and the tomatoes were sliced perfectly! Their secret sauce was delicious! Al ought, the slice of tomato did make the bottom slice of my biscuit soggy which was a little disappointing but overall the biscuit was delicious. Their orange juice was super bitter. Customer service could improve move.

Just a really fun place to brunch. They have a lot of choices and creative dishes. I really enjoy the Texas Club and the Benedict!

The food was delicious. Staff was friendly. There was plenty of open seating available when I went, that was around 11 a.m.

Amazing food, never had something here that I didn't want to finish. Great for brunch on the weekend if it's not too busy! Truffle tots are always a must! I always go for the spicy dishes and have never been let down. My wife adores the chocolate biscuits.

The food here will surprise you. There are numerous options, that I was not expecting and the food tasted amazing.

Food was really good. Service was friendly. We did wait 30 minutes for our food but it was worth the wait. The way the dining area is setup reminds me of a long table at the holidays where everybody gathers together even when people you don't know. Visit with some people who are already waiting. Nobody complaining. It was great.

Got a Togo order. Was like $16 bucks for the standard chicken biscuit sandwich. NO SIDES.can't even throw in tots for that price eh?

Clearly told them put all the veggies on the side cause I hate hot veggies. Nope. Right on the sandwich. Tomato slice hot and soggy. Not even salted. Arugula hot and wilted. Pickles were also hot and soggy.

Somehow the biscuit was super dry. How? Also who cuts a biscuit like this? Forget your glasses today?

Taste was supbar. Chicken dried out and had that 'been sitting out' taste.

Only thing I liked was the sauce. Not sure what it was. So yeah. Paid $16 for a small tiny thing of sauce. Rest went in the trash. Never again

The food was great but the bartender with blue hair had a horrible attitude! She charged us wrong tried to collect twice and lost a customer’s credit card while we were there. The place is great but could be better!

Went to breakfast here with my mom while visiting in town. I got the Hot Mess and she ordered the chicken and waffles. Overall the food was great and the plethora of options made choosing and option hard. We got a kolachi and some bread pudding to go. They have a bar I.the restaurant and had mimosas, bloody Mary's on special. Would recommend a visit for a unique experience.

I would enjoy drinks, especially hot coffee, from a REAL cup/mug. The food is pretty good, the space looks like an instagram filter. The service is equal to fast-food.

It’s our favorite place to go on a Saturday morning for brunch. Food is great and the bartender is so friendly and makes an amazing Long Island iced coffee!

LOVE Butterlove! Their cinnamon rolls are my personal favorite. The perfect ratio of cinnamon, gooey goodness icing and actual roll. You won't be disappointed. Next, I'm trying the pumpkin rolls if I can get there before they sell out. If they are half as tasty as the cinnamon I'll be in for a real treat.
