Unrelated to their business but more about the owners - they hired me to photograph their wedding in April of 2021. At the initial meeting, they explained to me they had a prior incident where a photographer took their money & then disappeared, so they wanted to wait until they got their photos to provide full payment. I very stupidly agreed & ended up photographing their 7 hour wedding (to include a complimentary engagement shoot that was done prior to the wedding itself). They signed the contract on 1/7/2021 agreeing to provide payment & have NOT paid a SINGLE cent to me. The total they owe me is $1,350.00. As business owners themselves, this type of behavior is unacceptable & highly unprofessional towards another small business owner. I spent most of my day driving over an hour to the location, shooting for over 7 hours, then driving over an hour back home. I've never had anyone do this during my photography career, so it's absolutely frustrating that I never got paid for my time & effort.
