The worst and RUDEST experience I've ever had here. Elderly man at the gun counter was very standoffish and very rude. How do expect people to purchase something from you when your that rude? Was planning on spending over $2k on a firearm. But that was quickly deterred by the elderly man "helping" us. He didn't even know how to measure the barrel of a bullpup. And wanted me to take his work for some firearms. Needless to say. One would figure since they NEED the business they would do better at retaining their existing customer base. Being that they don't have many new ones. There are WAY better places to purchase firearms from and local as well. Mc Brides was more than helpful and most of all knowledgeable about their own firearms in stock. So long cabelas.

I will absolutely NEVER step foot in a Cabela’s store ever again. The man that works here named George and the manager named Garrett (or Dave) couldn’t remember what he said has displayed the WORST customer service I have ever seen in an establishment that prides itself on excellent customer service. Garrett should be fired and not be able to work in customer service for the way he speaks to people. I absolutely whole heartedly think he would be much better suited for an office or somewhere where he doesn’t have to deal with people. We have a credit card to this company and everything and we were in the store with the intent to purchase and we’re made to feel like criminals. I will be canceling my credit card and absolutely never going to a store again. Think twice before you give this company your money because I promise you they do not care at all about their customers and I know they aren’t training or educating their managers and employees on tactfulness and customer service experience.

Little pricey but good deals when they do put stuff on sale. Definitely try the fresh hot toasted pecans, cashews and almonds!

5 pm. Not very pleasant today. No one seemed to be interested in helping. Most were fairly rude, from the man at the door to the male cashier. 4 men standing at the gun counter beginning line just standing around talking to each other. Gene, at the gun counter, was extremely nice and helpful.

Awesome place with a great outdoor sports selection. My favorite place to shop for hunting and fishing equipment & apparel.

Stopped for supplies on my way to Padre Island. Great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and plenty of options.

I've always loved this place. I can really see the difference since the acquisition. They now carry Bass Pro brands.

Great big outdoors store. Fun, even if you're just looking at all the stuffed animals. Large selection of goods. Very knowledgeable and helpful people. Two levels. Sometimes I get sidetracked by all the distractions. Don't plan on a quick shopping trip, it almost always takes much longer.

Plan to spend at one half day just browsing. Their signature outdoor wildlife dioramas take a while to check out. Super clean restrooms and cafe.
Enough personnel to service your needs without waiting. Everything your looking to take home:)

Always worth a trip - if only just to see the decor and grandiose layout! An Austin area must see!

Fun place to go. A shooting range for kids and adults. They have a aquarium and a place you can feed the fish. A nice place to get out with family.

Won't be going back there. We opened a new CC account. Got the bill and tried to pay i online. They screwed up so many "identity" details we could not even create a login! Paid with a check and told them to cancel the card!

One of my favorite places to go shopping for outdoors related stuff. Can be a fun trip for the whole family too. Plenty to look at and lots of special events where you can learn about the outdoor world. Plan a trip and learn something new. Go fish, go hunt, get outdoors!

Ok.so the prices are a bit on the high side, but you'll love the selection and the service is friendly and helpful. There's a cool little cafe upstairs and watch for demo days and specials if you're looking for a great deal. Sometimes I like to just walk around and enjoy the exhibits, it's a cool place just to take the kids and let them explore.

Never the cheapest prices but definitely the best selection by far and away. When you want to hold the product in you hand before buying, this is the place to go. Endlessly entertaining for the family as well from the walk thru aquarium, stuffed creatures, fudge shop, and laser shooting gallery, this place is just a great place to spend an afternoon.

This Cabelas is huge. You couldn't really ask for more in an outdoors store. Lots of little exhibits to see when you want to take a break from shopping. The restaurant could be open longer. They close before supper time (5PM).

Where is all the camo clothes? On the middle of hunting season and a whole 8 racks of hunting clothes. Post Cabelas.

Didn't see 1 thing I was willing to pay their prices for, OMG, had a cabellas in our home town in grand junction Co for a few years, loved that store, What the hell happened. Which outdoor store doesn't understand that when Yeti turned their back on the nra we stopped buying their products, cabellas. Saw my smoker I paid $165 for, my neighbor bought the exact same one for $145, cabellas price $199. This was typical all over the store. It'll be a long time before I walk into a cabellas again.
