Cajun Craft, Waco TX

Maybe the best restaurant in Waco. Food is delicious and prices reasonable. Wait times can be a little long but worth it.

Food had a plain presentation and tasted like it was out of a can.
Atmosphere was extremely small and very little seating.
The only good thing I can say was the tea tasted so fresh.
It was my first and last time there.

Very nice stop on our way to Austin from Dallas, would recommend. Nice indoor and outdoor patio seating. Staff was friendly and welcoming and the food was great! Group had the gumbo, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, and Cajun poutine.

Absolutely amazing food - everythings made fresh. Service was great, staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Definitely will be returning

The service and atmosphere was perfect unfortunately the one thing that had flavor was the stuffed bacon wrapped jalapenos the fried ribs had no taste.its bad if I gotta put ketchup on it. I didn't have chicken but one of the customers I asked loved it. My daughter had the fried fish and had to send back tasted awful the crawfish etouffee and beignets were awesome.make sure you try it yourself for your own experience

We both got catfish. She had the basket and I opted for the poboy. We were both very satisfied with the food and the proportions. The catfish was fresh and seasoned well, and the guys working that night were all very upbeat and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

The catfish salad was delicious. The fish wasn’t greasy at all. The front dining area was a little small. They had a sign for more seating in a back room to be fair, but we didn’t step into it so it’s probably more spacious.

Great food. It's like a Cajun diner. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food. Try the catfish.

Our party ordered Shrimp Poboy & Sausage Poboy along with the crab/sausage stuffed jalapeno appetizer. We also ordered the beignets.
All were very tasty!
I was impressed with the serving sizes and the service.

The shrimp poboy was amazing, definitely recommend! The side of fries were delicious too, seasoned to perfection. Super cute spot with super friendly and welcoming service! If y'all are visiting Waco and staying in the hotels down the street like me, go give them a visit. Support small businesses!

Just great the food was perfect flavors exactly what I hoped for there's only been one other place outside of Louisiana that hits the notes like this place did. I'll be back more then I probably should but we'll worth it.

Excellent Cajun food in the heart of Texas! We tried the gator bites, boudin balls and New Orleans trio, all were very good! Highly recommend if in the area!

Wonderful little dinette. The gentleman who ran the register was very kind. The service was great and the food was amazing. I had the Cajun strips and the wife had the crawfish ettoo something haha. I would have posted pictures but the food didn't last that long because it was soon good. Loved the fried pickles too. Everything was lightly battered and delicious. Definitely stop in if you are near by. (He was even kind enough to place a candle in the wife's dish as it was her birthday) thanks again for everything!

Pulled up to a rustic looking roof building that does not look like its in a great place to stop. Most of the buildings around have bars in windows. There was just one car in the parking lot, but we are sure glad we gave it a try. The food, staff and service was great. The inside of the building was very nice and as my wife said cute. I highly recommend trying it. The price for food was well worth it.

This place is soooooo good! The food is fresh and taste amazing! Get the bread pudding! We’re not from Waco, but would definitely come back to this little joint!

Stopped here on the way south - loved the food and loved the service! The staff was friendly and helpful! I had the Nashville Hot Sandwich and it was delicious! Not too hot with good flavor. Friend has the gumbo and he thought it was very tasty, and another friend has the Cajun Poutine and she also enjoyed hers. The group agreed it's a place we'd go back to for sure, and another friend group behind us is taking our recommendation and will be stopping here shortly as well!
