I spent $250 on a cake for my shower that I did not even get to unbox and display. If it was recommended to not travel but only a maximum of 20-30 minutes to transport this cake, this should have been suggested and advised up front. I was also told after the fact that the cake’s filling also increased the risk of this happening. I’m not a custom cake decorator and baker. Not once was this told to me during the ordering process. Of course if this was communicated, I would have thanked her for her time and chosen a bakery elsewhere as I knew the venue for my event was further than 30 minutes.also may have chosen no filing to lower the chances of this happening. The bottom tier has a filling that is like a really jelly like consistency. Instead we were blamed for the cake not making it to its’ destination, and even accused of possibly recklessly driving for the cake to have been in such a manner. Mind you, this cake didn’t even travel the interstate, and the cake had completely slid apart. Thank God I didn’t let this very, very unpleasant experience ruin such a beautiful moment in my life.

I have never experienced such unpleasant experience. I picked my cousin cake up for her babyshower. The cake was not able to be used b/c the owner was not clear in her instructions, if the cake should not travel more than 20/30 minutes that should be said upfront. I was told the cake should be refrigerated how is a cake supposed to be be refrigerated when it’s supposed to sit on a dessert table? $250 was spent on a cake that was not eaten or used because. I avoided the highway and rode in the backseat to secure the cake as you can see that didn’t work. We were also not told there would be a jelly filling which enhances the risk of it sliding. Communication is key when running a business, when told how far the cake would have to travel my cousin should have been cautioned that it would not be wise to order from her. This was a terrible experience and ruined the dessert table for her babyshower. I would not recommend this unprofessional business owner.

We were so impressed with our son’s cake that Cakeism made, and the amount of compliments we received was unreal. We loved it so much! I would totally recommend Cakeism to anyone/everyone. Thank you so much for the awesome cake guys!

Five stars! I ordered a cake for my boyfriend and the entire experience from start to finish was truly amazing. I could not have been more happy with how the cake turned out! It looked better than I ever thought it would and we got tons of compliments on it! The design, the detail, and even the taste was 100% on point! We will use Cakeism again in the future for any special event we have! Would Definitely Recommend!

Had a mini wedding reception with just family, and ny original cake person bailed on us a week before our wedding! I searched online for a nearby cake baker, and that’s when I found Cakeism! She understood our difficult situation and thankfully our order in to her schedule last minute! Without previously tasting her cakes we were praying the cake at least tasted good to our guests. LET ME JUST SAY, IT EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS. And honestlyyyyy way better than our original cake person’s cake we tasted. I am so HAPPY we found Cakeism, and we will definitely be ordering for our future events as well. Our guwsta LOVED the cake and we especially loved it too! Thank you so much!

It started with a simple scroll through Cakeism Instagram, when I say they do a TREMENDOUS job on their cakes! I ordered a cake for my baby party they were very professional, cake was sweet & moist, and the price was the best compared to other locations that quoted me for the same cake, design & serving size. I said I will come back and I meant every word. 3 days later I’m placing another order on a very last minute kind of deal and they are STILL ABLE TO TAKE MY ORDER for me! When I say that means a lot to me, I can’t thank you guys enough! I live 45mins away from Cakeism it is SO worth the drive. Thank you sooo much Cakeism I will be placing another order the 2nd week of February lol take all of my money please!

Hands down the best cake. Honestly i never liked cake until we started buying cakes with cakeism. We use them for any party we throw and we are always satisfied. I highly recommend this place

I ordered a cake and cookies for my niece's baby shower and they were fantastic! They looked great and tasted great as well!

My son’s beautiful 1st Birthday cake was made by @cakeismdallas I chose almond with vanilla buttercream (aka wedding cake flavor) for the top tier, and the bottom tier was funfetti with strawberry buttercream. The cake was very moist, and had a good icing to cake ratio. I really like how they used predominantly buttercream rather than it being fondant. I will be using them again for my daughter’s 13th birthday. I highly recommend Cakeism Dallas.

Most professional experience. Cakeism bought my vision of a Royal Baby Shower to life; with the most beautiful cake & cupcakes. Not only were they beautiful but absolutely the most delicious cake I've ever had. I see more shops in their future. Simply amazing!
