Calloway's Nursery reviews
18Calloways in Hurst is my happy place. I love to roam around looking at their plants. The employees are always doing their job and making sure I'm finding what I need. You can tell they take care of their plants!
So much better to go here than to home Depot or Lowe's for your plants.they have knowledgeable people great service and their plants just seem to do better than ones you buy from the big box stores
Not that great, the help sucked, and the plants were not looking all that great. Callaways not doing good.
There's just far too many employees standing around the registers and NOT helping you shop, find, or exchange plants. Even asking the manager for help seemed to bother him. I would just never bother the staff by shopping this Calloway's location again. We've stopped in their locations as far away as Dallas by Methodist Hospital so we like the franchise - I found this one to be the worst run and operated in the Metroplex and will never return.
Who expensive but they have everything you want and people there that know what you are trying to describe to them plus they will take back If you are not happy. Fantastic Nursery. WOW
Love Calloway's, the staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I've gone to Lowes and Home Depot, but the selection and cusromer service doesn't compare. Ask for Tammy, she's Fabulous, and will help you select plants for your sunny/shady flower bed needs.
Love this colloways. The manager of the store is extremely knowledgable and has amazing customer service.
Well maintained, a large variety. But most of the stuff you can pick up at Lowe's for half the price.
This nursery is very large and is easy to shop around in. Their employees are very friendly and helpful. This is the only nursery I really enjoy spending time at and looking around. They even have cold water bottles for their customers!
They have a huge and beautiful selection and their plants are in amazing shape. The pottery is on the more expensive side but everything else is priced decently. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly which is always a plus. I love going to this location as it always inspires me to do more!
The always have what we need. Great staff knows everything you need to know and are very helpful.
Always well stocked and staff are friendly. Some are real treasures and enjoyable-others approach it like its a paycheck and that's fine. Would be great to have a demonstration "local garden" so people could see what plants work best in our area in various - xeriscape, shade, traditional - gardens.
This place has a beautiful selection of plants, and the first lady I spoke with was very helpful and nice. However, when I returned my fiddle leaf fig tree (which is also a great thing they let you do), I had trouble getting help from the staff to learn more about taking care of the plant. The leaves kept falling despite doing everything right according to the instructions for caring for the plant, but I'd like to have one in the future. I asked maybe 5 times what it looked like I was doing wrong, and I was just told they're temperamental. That's an acceptable answer, but I overheard one of the staff saying in an annoyed manner, "People are always returning these because they don't know how to take care of them. " So I'm not sure which it is - I didn't know what I was doing (I didn't, which is why I asked because I'd like to learn) or the plant is finicky? Overall a great place to get plants, but the staff could be a little more careful when talking about us new to keeping them alive.
Hey i have 2 fish tanks and wanted to know if its a good idea buying plants for it here looks like an awesome place thx!
Very helpful staff, they helped us to diagnose what was wrong with our grass last time and it really helped.and this week we were back for some plant and had a good service.
Nice products, but every time we go in, the cashiers are so unpleasant. They barely speak to you, and are usually sarcastic or rude when we ask questions.
The Hurst Calloway's is a great place to shop for you garden needs! Everything is well organized, they always have healthy good looking plants and a large selection of not only basic flowers but hard to find and unusual things too. I love that they tell you how they will do in Texas weather! They are a great year round source and if you become a garden member, you get the inside scoop on some great deals!
Great selection of beautiful plants. The employees are knowledgeable, helpful, and always friendly.
