Calloway's Nursery, Plano TX

I purchased two plants curbside on two separate occasions. The first time I was hesitant, but they picked a great one. It was arranged nicely and was a great addition to my home.

I’ll be back.

Pretty good selection of outdoor plants. Most Indoor plants not looking so healthy. Don’t expect much help here, knowledgeable or other wise.

I love going to this Calloways because the people are very helpful, answer all of my questions, and teach me how to have a greener thumb.

They always have a great selection of flowers and bushes too.

One downside is that one of the employees (may have been a manager), was not taking covid precautions. She was not wearing a mask while she was helping me/talking to me for about 5 minutes. I did not feel comfortable asking her to put a mask on, but I also think that Calloways should do a better job of enforcing covid precautions. She was also visibly irritated that I asked for her assistance.

Great selection of plants and pots. We made three decorative large flower pots for around the pool - they look marvelous. Everything was bought from Calloway's!

Another great calloways location. Great selection of house plants. They seems to have a better selection of larger more established house plants.

So I pass by this plant talking about how cool it looks and this lady who is being helped grabs it. So I just look around waiting to see if she will go ahead and purchase it. After a few minutes of her looking and holding a different one I go ahead and pick it up when I get told by the staff that they were actually just talking about this plant and I had to let it go. Wow. Never coming back

They have VERY helpful and knowledgeable staff ready to help you. They can also assist you with fertilizer and other treatments for your lawn.

My gardener wanted $85 to treat my St Augustine grass for chinch bugs. Calloway's has the treatment I needed for a fraction of the cost and I spread it myself.

I highly recommend Calloway's!

Beautiful variety of plants that are mostly pretty healthy and in good shape; however every interaction with staff has been subpar. One visit, I noticed a bag of live lady bugs while checking out, and as a new crazy plant lady, I asked the cashier what kind of bugs they eat. She said, “bugs. Insects. Anything, really. ” I am still laughing weeks later because that’s just such a ridiculous (and incorrect) answer.

Another visit, I came in looking for a snake plant. I was chastised by a woman who was dressed for a safari for calling it a made up name. I shared that I wanted it for its air purifying capabilities, and she chastised me again for believing everything I read on the internet. The funny part of this story is when I found the plant, it said on the tag “snake plant. ” Also, that “made up stuff [I] read on the internet” was a published NASA study on plants and air purification. She also turned up her nose when I asked if the internet was correct in saying it’s poisonous to kids or dogs. She asked who would be so stupid to chew on such a thing. We still talk about her nearly a year later because it was just so ridiculous.

That said, I’ll still be going back because I love their products. I’ll just never ask for help unless I’m looking for new joke material.

I wasn’t satisfied with the prices or the help. I was in there for close to 45 minutes and barely got a full response from employees when I asked for help. The hanging plants were double the price of what I had seen elsewhere.

This is a very pleasant place to shop for plants. The staff here is very friendly and happy to answer questions. The selection and quality of the plants are excelent.

Great selection, friendly informative staff. I went two weeks before Halloween and they had pumpkins of many sizes, colors and textures, and small bales of straw and there were a few crows sitting on the straw that i thought were decorations until they moved, that was funny!
I found a beautiful lavender Christmas "tree", i had wanted rosemary shaped like a Christmas tree, because i tend to wait until they are all gone each year, they had those too, but the lavender one was something unique! Overall great experience shopping here, clean, organized, cute and unique decorative items and great selection and staff

They didn’t think they had any Turk’s Cap plants. They then found they had six in the way back and brought six of them to me. I sold one! Love these Turks and the humming birds get over them quickly!

My Wife always loves getting their flowers! They have a nice selection and if you need more information on what to get for your level of gardening their always willing to help.

I love this store. Its a Zen place for me. They have the most beautiful choices of plants, flowers, shrubs, pots, and all the soils, mulches, anything a gardener could want. Always friendly, helpful, professional staff!

Bought several bags of soil amendments for spring gardening. Gratefully they loaded up inside and then loaded into car. Made it a quick trip & I am so tired. Bonus that the cotton burr was half price today.
