Camp Bow Wow Grand Prairie

UPDATE: It’s been over 2 years that my dog Miles has gone to CBW in GP and almost a year that my puppy Reese has and the service is still top notch. We actually adopted Reese from Dallas Pets Alive while CBW was fostering her. I love the enrichment activities that they offer each month and the birthday shoot that they did for my dog’s recent birthday. I cannot say enough good things! I have attached photos from my dog’s birthday this month.

My pup has been going to this location since he was old enough to be enrolled almost 8 months ago. We love the staff here and Miles always has the best time and plays his heart out. We have done boarding and grooming also and have never had an issue. I love the cameras so that I can check on him throughout the day and that the staff love our pups almost as much as we do. The best part is how well they know your fur babies. We’ve been to an event in Grand Prairie that they could recall Miles breed and describe him to me just on his name and another where they recognized us walking by while he was in a cone. Highly recommend this location!

Thanks for caring and taking care of my pets while I enjoy my vacation. The camera is for me to be able to see my pets enjoy other pets' friendship. Thanks again.

Camp Bow Wow has become an essential part of our lives. So glad to have a great place we can trust to keep our pup and schedule our routines!

I foster dogs and the crew at this CBW are ALWAYS welcoming towards my ever-rotating kiddos, sometimes at the last minute when I haven’t planned ahead. Without their help, I couldn’t take the young, energetic dogs most in need, since my schedule would require them to be kenneled for long periods otherwise. Their grooming service is also awesome because squeaky clean pups are adoptable pups!

Our dog has been attending this daycare since early this year, and we were initially thrilled for him to be a part of it. He enjoyed the staff and eagerly anticipated his daycare visits. On the morning we left town, he was boarded, and due to his anxiety and separation issues, given his medication with breakfast and provided with enough to teach each day of our vacation. I gave detailed instructions for his food and medication, along with two phone numbers for any inquiries if something was unclear or confusing.

There was no communication from the staff during our absence, except for the one time I called, so we believed that everything was going well. Unfortunately upon our return, I discovered his bag still contained his cookies and the medication inside indicating it was not administered per the instructions I had given. He was boarded previously and this problem didn’t occur then, do we felt confident leaving our pup here for a longer stay. Unfortunately, This in his meds lapse led to him experiencing really bad anxiety, resulting in self-inflicted paw wounds. This is particularly distressing as this situation is exactly why his vet emphasized the importance of maintaining his medication regimen. We are disappointed that our instructions were not followed, and now we are left dealing with the repercussions of this oversight.

Our puppy has been going to this location for a year now. I feel at peace with him being here as they truly care about or four 4 legged son Mazi as much as we do! The cameras are an added bonus.

They was welling to work with my pup when it came to play time. They took pictures for her birthday and sent to me. They went over and beyond to make my pup and I welcomed and comfortable.

Allison and Todd took very good care of Dexter during a weekend stay. I was assured they would maintain he's required eye drops of twice a-day and loved the clean and spacious environment which you can view from their app. Most of all I was able to watch Dexter on my mobile phone when I was out of the country. I could see that he was being played with and interacting with other dogs.

I appreciate how hard the staff works but the amount of large dogs held in the same play area is too high. Especially during hot months in the summer. Also I noticed the dogs didn’t get stimulated with affection or fetch while I was viewing the play area cam.

My dog was a nervous boarder because it was his first time and it was for a whole week. He didn’t eat the first few meals and the staff was very accommodating…. They figured out it helped if they sat with him at meal time and added pumpkin or chicken broth to his meals to help entice him. They were as attentive as I could have asked for and the facility feels clean compared to others.

I highly recommend this place my HUGO great dane puppy loves go there the staff is very friendly always they are care all dogs, and Sergio is amazing always focus!

Love this location, Sergio is so helpful and attentive, I know I’m leaving my babies in good hands!

So far, very pleased with Camp Bow Wow! All questions answered during our first visit. Second visit was for the 'interview'. LOVE the cameras. Staff is engaged and friendly!

Best dog day camp and boarding! My dog fit right in! I was worried but she was just one of the kids! Cameras to watch, and the dogs are safe. My dog was so happy there! They need to socialize!

They’re incredibly professional and know canine behavior. I trust them with my puppy and she’s so happy when she gets picked up.

My fur baby loves Camp Bow Wow. As soon as we drive up, he jumps out ready to play. The staff really care for the dogs and provide a safe space for the dogs to run, play, and lay around all day. I have used the boarding services as well and have no complaints. I feel confidant my baby will be well taken care of. The cameras let you see inside the play rooms and it really makes my day!

Overall good place to take your dog. Greet staff is nice. Counselors are constantly cleaning up. Wish they had more activity. It's my first daycare so not sure if they're all like this. The dogs kind of shuffle in and out doors all day with not a lot to do. Some Counselors are better with the dogs than others. On a live cam, watched a Counselor drag my pup by the collar like he did something wrong just for peeing in the pool. He listens well. Felt she could have used words instead of dragging him. Seemed annoyed at having to dump and refill the pool. My pup enjoys Camp and is happy and super tired when he comes home. With no low traffic rest areas, he's only able to lay a couple minutes at a time. Their daycare is better for half days or less. Just enough time for your pup to socialize with friends and tire out.

Took my 2 baby's kai and koko for there very first time.they love it there were so happy! And tires too!

Great facility, and they took amazing care of our 2 dogs. The cameras that allow 24-hour video access are great!

Love the friendly atmosphere. It's clean and I can watch what my dog is doing from my phone. Best of all, she's played hard and she's ready to rest when we get home!
