Camp Joy Park reviews
20Nice park. Great for hanging out with the family. Right by the lake, has a nice play ground, benches, tables and trash cans. Does only have a portapotty.
Beautiful spot, lots of lovely trees. Cool place to swim during summer and a nice play area for kiddos
My niece Patty got dun Bit by a copperhead and lost her big toe cus of it but she still loves the playground
There was a barbecue, right next to the lake with a tiny beach, had a playground that is suitable for most kid ages. Downsides are that there were some wasps, the playground equipment was too hot to play on, and previous people (s) didn't pick up all their trash.
There's a playground, picnic tables, with small grills. Good place to take the family.
We've always enjoyed this park. It is a nice place to play in the water, the playground, or to take pictures. The kids enjoy playing with the ducks too. Sometimes they even fish there. They often find frogs and other things to entertain them as they go around the beach too. There is a nice view of the marina, so the kids can see all the big boats.
Great place to spend the day not very crowded.very quite and relaxing. Bring a seat and sit on the water's edge and enjoy the view.
Celebrated my great niece's birthday party. It was absolutely beautiful with the view of lake
Nice place to swim and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There are picnic tables, bbq pits and playgrounds for the kiddos.
The kids always have a good time here. Plenty of room to bbq and set up shade if you don't get a spot under a tree. Some of the users don't take advantage of the trash cans at the park, but Parks & Rec is amazingly quick at getting all the side messes cleaned up. Their employees seem to take pride in the area and keep it as nice as possible. Police/Marshall presence usually nearby if needed, but not obtrusive and rarely needed, to my knowledge.
Very nice, small and quiet park. Nice if your alone or with family. Swimming, fishing, sea dooing, canoeing or just sitting and watching the lake. Kind of hidden back there so not a lot of traffic on quiet days
Very nice, just need more trash containers or the people go there save the trash for home when the trash containers are full.
My husband and I really had a great time at Joy park today. Even shocked how our dog loved it as well. We will be back for sure
It’s a nice playground by the lake and a good place to have a party but people are relentlessly leaving their stash of trash everywhere. It could have been neat and more fun to look everywhere. I hope the county should implement stricter rule to maintain the tidiness of this park. People should also contain their trash and dispose it properly.
Great place for kiddos to play. 2 toddler swings, 2 full size swings. 1 set of racing slides. Monkeu bars, fireman's pole etc.
Good family place. Quiet and the lake was refreshing. Play area, grills and picnic tables.
Love this place, peaceful, always enjoy beautiful view of the lake I also enjoy to have cookouts with family and relax
Great place for any age kid and adults. Walk down to the lake. Set up grills and picnic tables through out the park.
Very nice open quiet park with a bunch of hidden spots around the lake. We had a picnic and it was so quiet and nice. Stick around for the sunsets. The colors on the lake are quite like no other.
