16I’m a coffee loving Aussie - been travelling through Texas for a week and this is by far the best coffee I’ve drink!
Exactly the speakeasy vibe I was looking for while on foot in Downtown Houston. I’ll be coming back for my Cuban roast with no upcharge for oat milk.
Love the coziness feel of this Campesino location! Myles makes the best horchata coffee 10/10 every time!
Always a good coffee. Prefer the Maya mocha, a it’s always a good conversation with my man with the dreads. I would recommend it.
Miles was so great! Came In here to cool down since it was so hot outside and Miles greeted me, gave me a whole rundown about the spot, and made me a yummy horchata latte!
I had the most amazing experience here. The man behind the counter was so kind and detailed with his work on the coffee and guest service. He wasn't super fast, but that wasn't an issue because of how well he put the drinks together. The way he also talked to the guests while he made the choice and knew many of the people by name was impressive to say the least. I had some excellent latte art on top of my Maya Mocha latte. Not a spot I would go if I was looking for something quick, but definitely somewhere I would go if I had time and wanted an experience over convenience.
Loved this tiny little coffee shop. It was very cute and the barista was super nice. I had the horchata iced latte and it was perfect. Great flavor and not too sweet. Really enjoyed stopping here before starting my day. Also very reasonably priced.
Jay is a great guy, renders very professional service and is very friendly. He is very knowledgeable in everything around the neighborhood and a wonderful conversationalist. The atmosphere is cool and calm. The coffee is excellent. I highly recommend this cafe.
Stopped by with a coffee in my hand from another local coffee shop and the owner asked why we were there if I already had coffee. I told him I wasn't impressed with the other coffee shop. He immediately insisted that they make me a new coffee and wouldn't let me pay for it. The coffee was amazing and their hospitality made my day
Gottdam, this is a good cup of coffee! I got the Maya Mocha Latte and didn’t need to add a thing. The service was personable and made my morning even better.
I must say this is a new, cozy hidden gem I will be visiting frequently! They have vegan bean & corn tamales that hit the spot & amazing coffee. Jay the barista was super friendly & knowledgeable. The color scheme & vibes were so homely. Even on a 100 degree day, the patio was still cool since it’s tucked in between two buildings. It’s so difficult finding places downtown to grab a quick bite & legit coffee, especially with vegan/plant based options! I am SO glad I discovered this cute little spot! Highly recommend.
Café in downtown Houston, like 6 day has the great advantage of being open every day. The coffees are great, there aren't many options but the ones they have are different. The place has a really cool atmosphere and it's the best coffee shop in the downtown area in my opinion.
I had coffee at another reputable place in the area, but this spot had better personable service (Jay was awesome), better coffee, and a better natural vibe. Grab a coffee and a pastry, then do a quick tour of the incredible murals in the area. When I'm in town again, I'm definitely coming back here!
Please come here and get the oat milk horchata latte. I’m already thinking about when I’m going to come back. 10/10
Amazing coffee options with cute and cozy area in downtown Houston. Definitely worth a visit if you want to enjoy time sipping coffee with friends
Cozy coffeeshop streetside. Bohemian vibe. There's a bakery with cookies, muffins, & empanadas. Full espresso bar. This place really shines on the speciality menu - delicious coffee in brew styles from across the americas. Unfortunately, no wifi takes it down a peg. Plenty of outlets regardless.
