Candy World, Garland TX

Spent over $140 on candy only to get home and find out half of it was stale! No resolution or response from store! Beware of the open self serve bins and don’t buy it if they won’t let you try it first! Or at least make sure you try everything before you walk out of the store.

Christmas so often brings on a challenge finding just the right gift. Sugar free chocolates for a diabetic friend, candy cigarettes for a friend that will flash back to our childhood, liquor liqueurs for that unexpected exchange. Plus, I can buy my favorite flavor of Jelly Bellies (buttered popcorn). If you have a sweet tooth, Candy World could become a holiday tradition for you too.

Very pricey. Checking receipt for correct calculation of weight and price of candy. There is no weight or price on receipt to verify the amount. As customer this could be wide open for dishonesty. I may pursue this further!

Staff wasn't very helpful at all. Candy selection was decent. Only reason for 2 stars is because my wife enjoyed what she got. I wish this place would allow for samples.

Yuck, spent about $70 on a wide variety of candy types, and everything i've sampled so far is super stale and sticky and gross (with the exception of the black cherry sour balls, those are ok!). Probably will just trash the rest and not even bother eating it.

Excellent customer service. We got there and the sign said closed. We were about to leave and the door opened and It was a very nice guy, of course I don't remember his name but he was the only one there. Thank you very much, you make our day!

It was stocked with every candy you could think of. The cashier was very helpful and courteous.

Super sweet staff and many awesome ice cream options. The app also has some great deals so save a little money.

While I'm all for supporting local small business, don't bother with this one. They do not have anything much more than your grocery store sells, yet for a much higher price. The handmade truffles they do have are made with very low quality chocolate and were terrible. Truly disappointed in our purchases.
