Cannon Place Apartments, Austin TX

I've lived at Tramor at Cannon Place for 3+ years now, and in two different apartments (2nd floor and 1st floor). I truly can't say enough great things about this place. Granted, it's not one of those new, fancy Austin apartments in the heart of downtown, but it is well located, safe, and most importantly, the office and maintenance staff are stellar. The apartments and appliances are also renovated and the appliances are all really reliable. I have had washer and dryer in both units as well as fireplaces. The staff is the best part of living here. They are always easy to each, responsive, and very quick to to solve any issue you might have to deal with. They have an emergency after hours line, submit maintenance requests online, and the ability to text the office. They also do a great job of managing expectations and/ or providing resources if they are unable to help with something, like last year during COVID scare and earlier this year with the freeze. I really like knowing the names and faces of everyone in the office, and approaching any issue with the confidence that any concerns I have are valid. The neighborhood is also well maintained - trash is routinely picked up, kept clean, the grass is cut regularly and landscape maintained, and there are well-lit sidewalks with poop bag dispensers throughout the whole neighborhood. Tramor at Cannon Place is a huge bang for your buck - comfortable, safe, kind and reliable staff who are truly dedicated to making this an enjoyable place to live. Once I moved here, I knew I would be renewing until I moved into a house. 10/10 would recommend leasing here.

I moved in here in October. It's been an incredible place to live. The staff in the office is friendly, maintenance responds quickly, and the property is well maintained and affordable. I hope to stay for a long time!

Really like it here! Quiet; well kept; Maintenance requests are very speedy; website makes it easy to pay rent, and pest control is timely. I took a star off because there seems to be a lot of water maintenance issues and so sometimes your hot shower might turn lukewarm or cold in a short amount of time. Otherwise very nice place to live. You can see the people who live here regard it as home.

I have been living at Tramor Cannon Place since the beginning of January and I could not be happier. When I first took a tour of these apartments I was so surprised how welcoming and friendly the front office staff was. I have lived in 3 places since I moved to Austin and they have all had terrible management. But not Tramor! Marcela was just a joy to tour with. Now the greatest part about this company. When this pandemic hit, I lost my job march 16th and was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 18th. I was out (health wise) until April 2nd and struggling. I kept in contact with Kelly in the office about my health and my lack of employment and begged for an extension on rent. She talked to John the Owner and they allowed me to pay April 15th! Amazing, I was so happy with that. When I got a letter on my door about late rent I personally emailed the owner about the arrangement and my health, I got an email back from him with his well wishes and extending my rent due date to april 17th and cut my rent by $150. It may not seem like a lot but it meant the world that this company would consider their tenants and take to heart what is going on in the world.
