CanyonVet New Braunfels

This was my first time going here. They were able to get me in quickly which was great because I was worried about my pup! Everyone was very nice and helpful! They had everything I needed to make my puppy better so I was able to leave that day with everything I needed! Very pleased! Thank you so very much and happy holidays!

A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to canyon vet for getting my Maggie in to see them so quickly. My normal location in canyon lake was booked but they found another slot in NB. Maggie had a bloody stool and they diagnosed her and got her feeling better in 24 hours. It didn’t break the bank either. They followed back up with me and said I could call them any time with questions. You can trust these vet.

Turned me away after my cat just had a seizure! Told me to drive all the way to SA on Broadway to ER. Found another local vet that took us in immediately and started doing tests even though they were completely booked.
Shame on y’all for not helping out in an emergency!

Staff are always prompt in getting patients into an exam room. They are gentle with my dogs and answer any questions I have.

I have used this vet for years. Today one of my dogs had a seizure and they would not work us in to assess my dog. They referred me to San Antonio off of Broadway for service, when there is an Urgent care vet open in Marketplace. This was after they couldn’t “find my records”. I have taken SIX pets there and they continued to debate with me about this. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars there and I will NEVER return. Currently at Marketplace 35 Animal Hospital, where the staff is actually polite and accommodating…. And the prices aren’t any different.

Dr. Farris was wonderful! I appreciated all the help with my cat Sandwich. The staff was very helpful getting her back in good shape. I will be returning with my other pets and would definitely recommend!

We moved to the New Braunfels area in 2021. We absolutely adored our previous pet clinic and knew it would be hard to find one that met that high standard. Well, CanyonVet New Braunfels (and sister clinic CanyonVet Canyon Lake) have met our needs as a pet family.
We are the proud guardians of a feisty kitty and Dr. Farris has been kind, compassionate, and helped us to understand how to best serve her needs when she needs to go into the clinic for her annual visit.
For our doggy kiddos everyone involved in caring for them has been simply amazing. They have kept us informed, explained things in deeper detail, repeated requested information so that we better understand, and have referred us to specialists when needed. We could not be in better hands than with CanyonVet New Braunfels.

Everyone was very nice and very kind to me and our pope. He's a very large pit bull and they handled him very well.

After dealing with a different veterinary office for many years we decided to make a change. We have been extremely pleased with our decision in using this office for our fur babies. The front office staff and technicians are extremely friendly and compassionate. Everyone is very welcoming and give our fur babies all the love and attention a pet parent could ask for from the minute we walk in the door to saying our goodbyes as we leave. The veterinarians are extremely knowledgeable and truly want what is best for our babies. I am very pleased in our decision to switch to this practice and am extremely satisfied with all services we have received and all of the staff who have helped us. I would definitely recommend anyone bringing their animals here.

I highly recommend CanyonVet New Braunfels! From the front desk to the technicians and veterinarians, I always have a great experience. They all go out of the way to make sure my fur children are happy and comfortable for the entire visit.

My dog Lola had very painful ears and kept shaking her head. I live in Converse and none of the local vets could get her in. I called CanyonVet New Braunfels after calling so many others, and luckily they were able to offer me an urgent care appointment. All of the staff members were very kind and professional, they even offered Lola and I some water while we waited to see the doctor. My girl is comfortable and doing so much better now. They also found that she has a broken tooth, which I never suspected! I signed up for their Thrive Plus membership to save some money but it wasn't linking to my account, so Savannah the practice manager helped me figure it out. She was very sweet and happy to help. After the wonderful experience I had, I decided it's worth the drive to make them my regular vet from now on.

With 6 fur babies, it’s important to find a place that cares and my experience with the vet and staff has been excellent.
