Disappointed in this branch! The hours are not dependable and its the only branch in the area. You want a bank you can trust and you know will have your money when you need it. This is not that, keep looking!

This is the only location in Tyler that you get a live person. Their hours are crazy and they are always closed. Is capital closing that one branch in Tyler?

Awesome bank! They've always taken care of any problems or unauthorized charge with no questions asked. They've always been very friendly at the branches I've visited

I waited almost 30 minutes on the phone for a customer service rep and never got one so I hung up. Plus there are no locations close to my home. The closest one is 28 minutes away.

If I could give no stars I would. Do not bank with Capital one pure run around u mean Capital Zero. I will never bank with them again. I highly suggest you never do either. Waiting to move the rest of my funds but I will be gone.

This bank has definitely gone downhill since the last time I had an account with them. I made a credit card payment through my 360 account and was told it would be placed on a mandatory 7 day hold to verify funds on the transaction even though it has already been taken out of my account. What is there to verify if it has already posted from a 360 account? At least my credit union posts payments immediately. Now I have no money to live on for another week.
Thanks capital one

I do everything through the mobile app. And there’s lots of atms everywhere that I can get cash at no charge!

Their call centers seem to be staffed with much less knowledgeable people the past couple of times I have called. I can tell by their accents, they likely are not from around here. I do not like their statement format, where they combine all accounts onto one document, because there is much less information than before.

I did not like that they took away most of the options for the brick and mortar checking accounts and made them all simply checking and took away many of the features I enjoyed like ATM fee reimbursements and not paying interest on the account. They aren't costing me anything except when I go to order new checks which are no longer free, but I am not earning interest unless I switchover to a 360 account, which is what I think they are trying to get people to do.

At anytime they will suspect fraud on your account and take more than the 7-10 business day to return the finds on the account they will not contact the bank that sent it at all would suggest don't ever use this bank

Customer service has gone steadily down hill. Can't even get a check from the branch anymore, have to pay $10 for cashier's check or $50 to buy a book of checks just to access own money. Decisions made at leadership level seem to booster company's revenue at the literal expense of the customer. Time to move to a credit union.

I have an account with capital one and have never had an issue with the online banking. I really love the fact I can go through the atm and deposit up to 50 bills no matter if they’re $1 bill or $100 bill, all without having to talk to anyone at all. My only complaint is the hours. They’re unreasonable for the average working person. I request drive through and atm hours to be 8-6 instead of 9-5, that would be a game changer.

Go somewhere else.its been shown that unless you have a lot of cash in the account they really don't care about you. One example is back when capital one messed up a lot of accounts and ended up doubling some charges taken out. This left me with nothing in my account and I relied on paid transportation at the time to get back home. Tried to call them, and they knew that it was an issue on their side, but I could not get any funds available so I had to walk 8 miles home in the snow. Meanwhile on the news a person being interviewed with their account messed up called and had funds available to them that same day. It just seems to be that unless you are profiting them they don't care about you as a person.

I have banked with capital one in Tyler, Texas for many years and once I believed it to be the greatest and friendliest bank. Once, when there were 3 branches in Tyler, each one bent over backwards to ensure customers were treated with respect and would do whatever was within their power to answer any questions or concerns. But now with this current Tyler Branch, it has turned out to be the worst branch I have ever experienced.

On three separate occasions I have visited this branch and all three times I have experienced the rudest customer representatives and the most unwilling people to help. But to give credit where credit is due, the tellers have been helpful and nice. However, when dealing with customer service, when you go in there to ask a very simple question, you may be greeted by the receptionist but then you are told there is no one available to help you and that you will have to call an automated number. This happens even though there are two other people setting at desks and while listening to this conversation neither one makes an effort to come over to see if they can be of service. While still speaking with the receptionist you try once again to explain that you will only speak to a live person and that you only need some very simple guidance about a 401k or other small money matter. You are now looked at as though you don’t understand a thing they just told you so they tell you to “call the automated phone number. ” By now, you while trying to retain your composure you repeat your request to speak to a customer representative, so the receptionist goes behind closed doors and then comes out and shoves a piece of paper in your hand and says you have to call this number because there are no financial advisors at this branch and no one here to help you. This is absolutely ridiculous and enough is enough.

I was so angry that I left and immediately proceeded to visit with the Bank of America branch, here in Tyler. I was met and greeted by the most courteous and polite people you would ever want to meet and who had absolutely no problem with answering my very simple insignificant questions. They even gave me some other much needed expert advice.

I must say, if this is a now a permanent policy of the Tyler Capital One Branch, then my next alternative is to close out all of my accounts with them and take my banking to the Bank of America. At least there you are treated with respect and will always have someone willing to answer your questions, even if they don’t have the answer you need.

As far as credit card customer service they are great. As far as banking service not so great. They closed 2 locations in our area leaving only one brick and mortar bank with hours of 9 to 5 including the drive thru.really? How are working people suppose to do banking within those hours?

This bank has made so many mistakes with our business checking account.on top of the fact that if we deposit a check from a customer and there is a discrepancy the tellers never bother to relay that information to us, as the customer and account holder. We don't get to find out there was an issue until the bank statement comes out and then our accounting system is off. I wonder how they would like it if their teller drawers were off every single night because I didn't do my job! Such terrible customer service, and so hard to get in touch with. Even if you call the local branch phone number, you still end up speaking to someone that has to contact that branch. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! We now know why so many branches have closed and we'll be leaving this bank soon as well!

I was on hold for over 45 minutes! Finally hung up without talking to a representative! I see why so many closed branches!

WORST BANK EVER! We traveled over an hour to get to this branch (the closest branch from where we live), so a terminally ill relative could update his account; they made a mistake in the account transaction; we called to see if they could rectify the mistake over the phone, or online, or via a notary; their response was pretty much, "Sorry, you'll have to come back to the branch. " Everything can be done online now, but Capital One insists that customers still come to their faraway branches-even when THEY make the mistake. We will be closing our account very soon! We never want to hear the name Capital One ever again!
