Facing a major surgery is overwhelming to me. I asked Dr McNeil numerous questions to satisfy my inquiring mind. All were answered in a very thoughtful detailed manner that I very much appreciated.
Dr Church is a wonderful vascular surgeon. Yesterday he was persistant and spent 4 hrs solving my issue when it should have taken 1 hr. He is my hero!
Dr. Nation and his staff were wonderful. They were quick, efficient, professional and caring. I was able to converse with them during the procedure. I don’t think the procedure took longer than an hour. The even let my daughter nap in a spare bed because she works nights. I had an ablation of my right saphenous (sp?) vein. No problems afterwards. Better yet, no pain!
Dr. McNeil is very approachable and has a relaxed confidence that makes you feel at ease. He explained the process of bypass surgery, risks and recovery process in a manner that was easy to understand. He answered all my questions and eased my fears. I am confident that he will do a great job when I have the surgery!
