My prescription was not called in to my pharmacy. My pharmacy closed and I called Carenow to send my prescription somewhere else. The second pharmacy did not receive my prescription and now Carenow is closed. I am stuck without my meds.

Registered, drove in to be seen for a yeast infection/STI testing & only once I was brought in, vitals obtained and the doctor came in was I told they don’t do that at their clinic. What kind of urgent care clinic can’t do this testing?

Im annoyed because first the provider walked in and said she didn’t know if they do that testing there. In my opinion, if you don’t know, go find out from your staff first before you talk to the patient. You are a professional and should no the protocols and testing of facility.

Secondly, the secretary should have made me aware of it before they had me register and wait in a room for a provider.

Thankfully, went to next level care and they were amazing, treated me empirically for yeast based on an exam (which the care now provider said she wouldn’t do) and they did all the testing.

Don’t waste your time at this clinic.

Parking: Very limited. I arrived before opening and half of 10 parking spots were gone. 4 spots are reserved out of those 10.

Wait: As a walk in, I waited about 40 min to be seen. This was a lot to me since the last time I went to an urgent care I waited no more than 10. I’m sure if I would have checked in before, online, it would have been quicker. But I was new and in pain, so I didn’t know. Also, I was the first person there.

People: The people was nice. The guy who did the x-rays was the best and very personable. Really liked his manners.

Results: I was given a light pain shot (did not work at all) and an additional shot and meds to pick up. I was in pain for 4 more days before I could fully function.

Reflection: Since the urgent care did not know me, I felt they were being careful with the prescription and gave me low dosages, which resulted in slower results. Next time, i will just make an appointment with my doctor.

I cut my finger almost to the bone and rushed over here because it was the closest place to my house to get stitches. Receptionist sees me holding my hand covered in blood and tells me I have to make an appointment online and it’ll take an hour for me to be taken care of. What human being in a situation of urgency would make an appointment? Absolute joke. I had to drive 10 minutes down the road to get stitches.

The care I received at care now was surprising. I hurt myself at work and was seen and diagnosed in a very professional manner. I had no problems with what was needed to be done for my care. I was giving very precise instructions on how to get better.

Friendly staff, I like that you can check in online and get texts when it's time to head to the clinic.

The front desk and medical assistants were wonderful. They were nice and efficient. The NP Ebele Owo left much to be desired. Her bed side manner needs a lot of work. I know she was busy but that is no excuse to not get full information from your patient. I wasn’t expecting her to hold my hand or ask me about my family but I did want her to ask a little more about what was wrong with me. She came in listened to my lungs and told me we would wait on my results for the flu and COVID test. She was so curt that I figured she was going to come back and ask me questions and talk to me when they got the results. That was the last I heard until the medical assistant came back with my prescriptions. I had to tell the MA that I couldn’t use a Z-pak because I always tend to come back for a stronger antibiotic because the Azithromycin does nothing for me. They sent me back out to wait. I also had to tell them that it was the nebulizer medication and not the handheld medication that I needed so they took me to the back again. I sat there and told the NP what I needed and she seemed perturbed about my changes and the fact that I questioned her diagnosis. I only did this because I would need the paperwork for work. She had listed that it was just an asthma variant yet not an upper respiratory infection even though she had just prescribed an antibiotic, steroids, and cough medicine, with my albuterol? She was bothered that I questioned her diagnosis and she walked away while I was still talking to her. I finally had to tell her I was an RN and that I knew what I was talking about and why I was bringing it up. She was so completely rude. I left it at that and just left with my prescriptions.

I was in and out. I came in for a spider bite and was given a prescription as well as what to do for a aftercare.

I’ve used this location several times over the last 5 years and it is always clean, and the online waiting list works great! I typically have to wait less than 10 min once I arrive to be taken back, and less than 5 for the doctor/practitioner to see me. They are quick, knowledgeable, and friendly.

The only downside is that, like all of Midtown, parking is minimal. Another reason to do the online waitlist, since it helps manage how many people are in the building. There are some spots behind the building, and some street parking in front.

One star is too many for this urgent care. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour to be seen by a “provider” who said they didn’t have enough staff to give me a shot. Any doctor, nurse practitioner or nurse has the clinical skills to complete this. Waste of time and did not receive any recommendation that would benefit my situation. Just go ahead and go somewhere else if you would like to be seen by healthcare professionals.

The expected wait time given was accurate. The physician was thorough, both in the exam, answering questions, and the treatment. The nurse was efficient, kind, and competent. Kudos to all!
