CareNow Urgent Care - Barton Springs reviews
14This Care facility is very dysfunctional. I called inquiring about a simple test which they assured me was no problem. When I arrived they tried to charge me double what they had quoted me that same day. Such a shame that supposed health care facilities are just trying to scam you for more money. No Hippocratic oath here, better take your business elsewhere.
Very caring, fast and professional service by all the staff, from the receptionist, nurses, doctor and also by the followup department. No waiting line. Thank you all.
From the moment I checked in to the moment I left it was an excellent experience. All of the staff were warm and informative making me feel cared for. Highly recommend this facility.
I’ve been here for over three hours. The doctor on staff is very dismissive and argumentative when I was discussing my symptoms and previous treatment. This place is very understaffed. Don’t waste your time here and go to an actual doctor’s office if you can.
Quick, convenient and quality care. I hope I never have to come back but if I do I have confidence that I’ll be taken care of.
The woman at the counter had the nerve to deny me access to the bathroom saying it's "patients only"
0/10 doctor checked me out for less than 3 minute. I called and asked if that had numbing drops for my eye and the person who answered the phone said yes. When i got there the doctor said they ran out and sent me with literally nothing. Wasted time and money and I am still pain. I am a college student who cant afford to waste money and still be suffering.
Receptionist at the front desk was very nice, but the nurse practitioner provider was late and extremely rude. She ignored my symptoms and the pain I'm in. She was just completely unprofessional. Do not recommend this place.
Went in late in the evening. They saw me immediately with no wait! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Doc was attentive and the staff was great.
Website says they close at 7 on saturdays, but when I was in need of URGENT CARE at 6: 30, they were closed. Why tf would a medical establishment close before advertised.
This was the first time I visit and everyone was extra friendly and nice. From the time I check in until the time I left. They made me feel very comfortable. It was very quick didn’t wait long
Very quick and easy from start to finish and every staff member was absolutely wonderful! So kind, caring, and professional. Not that I want to be in a situation where I need to see them again, but if I do, I'll gladly return to this facility.
I took my daughter here for a really tough tonsillitis. Check and was super easy and convenient. Frenchy, the nurse is really thorough in asking all the questions and the nurse practitioner. Melissa was really thorough in describing her diagnosis and prescribed good medication for my daughter.
I felt in really good hands with Frenchy and nurse practitioner, Melissa.
Will definitely return!
The staff here is amazing! Frenchie (Frenchy? Idk how you spell it) and Mary Grace were wonderful and made me feel comfortable, safe, and cared for when I was severely ill. I’m pretty sure I was the last patient of the day and they didn’t rush me at all, took the time to understand my symptoms and health history, let me stay late to make sure I reacted well to treatment, and both had excellent bedside manner that cheered me up when I was suffering. My follow up questions were also answered promptly in the days following my visit.
As a trans person, I am often anxious going to new clinics because it is not always an affirming experience, but Frenchie clarified my pronouns right away and continued with my health history in a totally professional, non-awkward manner.
Care Now: to take the burden off your staff and trans patients you could include a section for this information in your digital intake forms. Having a section for pronouns and gender (as opposed to just legal sex) would help patients and staff communicate more effectively. Thankfully Frenchie was savvy enough to navigate it all smoothly anyways! Thanks y’all, I’m on my way to a full recovery
