My mother thinks this hospital sold her uterus to Baylor hospital because they are doing uterus transplants.

A doctor with more than 40 years of experience but does not know how to diagnosed endometriosis. I am 100% sure he knew my mother didn't have endometriosis but he saw the adhesions from the only c-section he did 3 years ago and instead of saving her uterus he removed it.

WE AS A FAMILY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE WHO HAS DESTROYED OUR FAMILY BECAUSE OF THIS SURGERY

Stop removing uterus due to adhesions after a two year cesarean!

If there were a -0 star rating i would pick that. This is an very unpleasant experience with my mom she is devastated because they told she had a endometriosis and a tumor and that she had to get a hysterectomy done. They only care about money! Not about her well-being! My mom hasn't been herself she is so scared and they just destroyed her. My mom cries mostly all day, all she wants is to be herself again I love my mom but I don't like to see her like this because of this bad doctor.she sold her car to pay for the surgery bc she got so scared.

I suggest you go with another provider they only care about making money with insurance. Cash patients should have options.

Wow! Called to schedule an appointment and the lady who answered was very rude like I didn’t have insurance. I really wanted to go here; moving from Atlanta we have so many great African American doctors, with that being so slim in Dallas I was happy to see us and support that…but not the greatest experience.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. My family has gone here for over 24 years and we've been treated like family since. My mother had used Dr. Jones and Dr. Parnell (who have retired) to deliver my siblings and I. They have always treated me like their own daughter since I was a little girl. Because of that I knew who to come to when it came to delivering my first child. Dr. Pompey is the most genuine, kind-hearted soul you will ever meet and I am blessed to have had her on my journey! She ensured that I was taken care of pre-partum and postpartum. My health, safety, and mental well-being was always a priority to her. Although the front office staff was never truly the most welcoming or caring, I always tried to kill them with kindness. I go about my visit and wouldn't allow them to dictate my enthusiasm for seeing Pompey's team. This will always be my OBGYN office as it was for my mother.

***WARNING TO WOMEN*** They will try to convince you to get a Hysterectomy in order to make more $$$. My wife trusted them and was misdiagnosed. They do not have your best interest at heart. ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION

This office deserves zero stars. The customer service on the front line is horrible. The front lady named Pat, the business office manager Yara and the 2 ladies uo front are awful and very unprofessional. If you can please find another office the aide you in your health care needs because these people are horrible and spare yourself.

I am originally from New Orleans and moved to Dallas in 2005. I have been a patient of this office since 2006. I was originally with Dr. Jones who left the office to relocate to another city and I decided to become the patient of Dr. Diaz. I am extremely happy with her and her staff as it relates to knowledge, professionalism and caring for her patients. She takes a mama bear approach with her clients. She gives you the information and informs you how it can affect your health. I feel as though I am part of an extended family during my visits. The staff listen and remembers everything. It feels amazing to not feel like a number but rather family.

Spoke with Virgina let her know I was 16 weeks as I had just had an ultrasound done yesterday. Looking to switch to Dr. Parnell. I was told I couldn't because at 18 weeks I needed testing done. Which I explained in not 18 weeks yet. She said they have to go by the " "wheel"
I told her I had paperwork with the date on it and she said none of the Dr.s can take me rudely.

I was a patient of Dr. Winfred Parnell for about 17 years and the service was great. Late last year when I called to schedule an appointment, to my surprise, I was told that he had retired. That was the first sign of series of problems surfacing with the practice because, out of courtesy, some form of communication should have been sent to the patients. I was referred to a new physician within the practice, but discovered real fast that the level of service and communication, through the front desk staff and the nurse, was no longer important. This is unfortunate because they really did have an exceptional system going.

This practice comes highly recommended by many of my colleagues and I’m so glad I listened to them. The front staff was very welcoming and prompt with checking me in. The waiting area and the facility itself was very clean. I was greeted by the sweetest MA/nurse Lauren who took my vitals and my medical hx before meeting with the doctor. I then met with Dr Lisa Sliwinski. She is very patient, intelligent and extremely personable. She listened to my questions and addressed all of my concerns. We came up with a game plan moving forward. I would highly recommend her and this practice for all of your obgyn needs.

I love this practice and Dr. Gunderson. I had my first baby in December and relied on her 100% throughout the process. She never disappointed me or left me feeling unsure or uneasy during my entire pregnancy.

Dr. Gunderson is BEST! She was OBGYN for my 1st baby and made everything so easy and comfortable! Her assistant Monica was nice and caring! I went to diff ObGYN because I moved and missed Dr. Gunderson. She is very caring and listen to her patient. Thank you Dr. Gunderson!

Dr. Pompey (& asst) and Dr. Diaz (& asst) along with office staff are so personable and knowledgeable! They work as a team! I couldn’t ask for a better OBGYN.

Dr Parnell comes across as personable and knowlegable when it comes to her craft. Her assistant is unproblematic and civil, however, the office could do better with its front desk.

This week, 4th january 2023 precisely, I had an encounter with one of their front desk personnel (to be more descriptive, the plus sized one). The interaction left me feeling so poorly and wondering if It is wise to continue future care there, especially because prior to the encounter, I checked my blold pressure at home (as part of my routine) before setting out, it was at 122.
After the encounter, when I was called in for my vitals, my blood pressure was at 140.
I go to the hospital to feel better not worse, and especially not when I m paying. Lol

She was unnecessarily standoffish, hostile, unempathetic, with a truck load of attitude. Based on experience, Her behaviour was similiar to attributes displayed when people suffer inferiority complex.

She was spoiling for an unnecessary fight, which I was totally uninterested in giving, because her behaviour, was completely beneath me.
I took it in my stride, as I couldnt bring myself to stoop to her level.
BTW, during this horrific encounter, I could see the other front desk person whom I was dealing directly with literally cringing at her uncouth behaviour.
I was being talked down at, like I was her subordinate.

I called the office after I left and thankfully, the more civil front desk person answered the phone line.
I expressed my concerns and also highlighted that the lady in question needs retraining especially on her soft skills.

It was met with empathy and she mentioned she will relate to the office manager.

Hopefully she did, because it will be a loss to the office, if instead of calling out bad behaviour, decide to cover up, or turn a blind eye, because from her behaviour, she seems to have gotten away with this attitude one too many times, and now solidly set in her ways. Ultimately, the practise will continue to bear the brunt for one rotten egg (directly or indirectly), if nothing is done.

At the end of the day, not my monkey, not my circus

Haven't even been to my appointment yet and already have an issue with Micki and her nasty tone and unprofessionalism. Manager didn't seem to care and only cared about my insurance. Horrible service

I wholeheartedly agree with the prior review specifically this part

"The office staff members are so unprofessional, rude,

I attempted to set up a new appointment and was met with a rude disposition.

I will look for another provider.

The office staff members are so unprofessional, rude, and unorganized! For my very first appointment, they had sent me 3 different confirmation emails, each with a different appointment time. I had to call several times before getting clarification on what time I needed to arrive that day. The woman at the front desk with the pink or purple under color in her hair always has an attitude! My experience with Dr. Pompey was great. She answered all my questions/concerns and she didn’t make me feel rushed. My second and last appointment, I waited almost 30-35 mins before the nurse assistant came in to tell me that Dr. Pompey was stuck in a surgery. About 10 mins later, another doctor came in to take care of my appointment (she was great as well). It came time to check out, schedule my next appointment and go over my delivery benefits. The woman at check out (I don’t remember her name) was very rude and apathetic when it came to my insurance issues and scheduling for my next appointment. She profiled and stereotyped me when I started asking questions about the separate out-of-pocket fees I’d have to pay. As my sister and I are asking questions she continues to ignore us and get out her seat to speak with other office staff (just extremely rude). This is my first pregnancy and wasn’t aware of any fees I’d have to start paying. I’m more than capable of paying, I just would’ve liked my delivery benefits explained to me at my first appointment and explained well so I wouldn’t be caught off guard with last minute fees. I would think they’d have some empathy. The office manager, Lori, is also very rude. As I’m trying to schedule my next appointment and explain why there’s any confusion, she continued to interrupt me while I was speaking and wasn’t trying to be understanding at all. I don’t recommend this office at all! I will definitely be going to a different doctor.
