Carnitas Queretaro Mexican Restaurant, El Paso TX

We came here after an awful experience at the Gateway location, and we were so relieved to have a friendly server, prompt service, and an enjoyable atmosphere. The food was great and we had a great experience. I highly recommend this location.

Bad service. Had to constantly wave at esmeralda for more coffee, then for more creamer for the coffee. Our request for two extra napkins were ignored.

Made recent order for delivery, will never do that again. Order the food platter got fajitas, which were okay, but all side dishes missing

Excellent Mexican food, nice environment, friendly staff, and nice Mexican music. My favorite here is the tortilla chicken soup! You have to try it!

Great place loved it been there twice in a two week span. Flour or corn tortillas homemade the margaritas were good, just too much ice, but overall great tasting carnitas and more

Good food. A bit bombed that couldn't switch out sides with tacos-carne asada. Have to pay extra for switch.

A sad and disappointing place, the most lousiest waiter service I have received, constantly asking for refills.
The sadest Taco Tuesday I have ever experienced.
Just warmed up flaky break apart tortillas with minimal meat and no onions, cilantro, sour cream, lettuce…zip…zilch, nada, no condiments….
Definitely 1st place for the lousiest Taco Tuesday experience.

The food was good. I had a Mexican combination plate lunch special. It consisted of a chili relleno, an enchilada, a soft shell taco, served with beans and rice. The server was polite and the speed of service was adequate. I would eat here again.

Ordered some red enchiladas to go & the sauce tasted weird! It tasted like ingredients were expired or used from a can! It wasn't authentic red Chile sauce & first time that I decided to buy food from this restaurant. Not coming back to this place anymore!

Breakfast sucks, not many options and food is not fresh, everything is from can pre cooked even the coffee was a little nasty won’t b coming back

Carnitas Queretaro used to be one of my favorite restaurants. After today’s experience I will never go back! We ordered red enchiladas and red chicken chilaquiles, and the Chile Colorado tasted like bad tomato sauce. It’s so sad to see this restaurant going down. I hope the owner finds out about this and does something about it.

We didn't like the breakfast options. They do have a great deal, but for us it wasn't even worth it. Prices where higher than our usual breakfast spot, and food wasn't as great. I gave it 2 stars only because of the service we received, exceptional. We do want to try their lunch maybe I'll change my mind about this place.

Wow, what a disappointment. Wait staff seemed bothered. Literally provided the minimalist effort, it wasn’t till we had already ordered that we knew there was a taco Tuesday special and was to late to cancel and order tacos, which ended up being a good thing cause those tacos looked like. 10€ent tacos, tortilla looked blah, the table next to us had just ordered the tacos and they were pretty lame looking.
Never Again.
