Carter BloodCare, Plano TX

This place is a joke. They are advertising all over TV asking for plasma donations if you have recovered from covid-19. I make an appointment, read and fill out all of their pre-paperwork and questionnaires, someone calls me to confirm the appointment and makes sure I understand it will take 2 hours. I show up.and only then do they say well today we will just take a blood test to confirm your antibodies and you'll have to make another appointment to come back and give plasma. No mention of this in any of the paperwork, prior calls, appointment set up, commercials, confirmation.nothing. This place is a joke, I thought I was going to help someone with covid like they said. Turns out you can't even if you wanted to because it's just a ploy to get you in the door to tell you that you can donate blood instead which won't go towards helping covid 19. Definitely don't go here.

I donated blood and everything went very well. The office is very clean and the staff are nice people. I plan to go back again soon.

Clean and efficient. I filled out the questions before I got here. I had an appointment and there was no waiting. Professional and courteous service. Happy to donate blood here.

First timer here. Not sure what the bad reviews are all about. Everyone was nice. Process was quick and painless. Love the online forms so I don’t have to fill out a bunch of papers. Booked an appointment online and there was no wait. Also, free snacks!

To say the staff love their job is a complete over statement. Not even God himself could make these employees smile. They were all in a bad mood as if they have never had anything good happen to them. The lady that i had to draw my blood didnt even try! After just a little bit, she couldn't get it, she packed everything up and said drink water next time and walked off! I will never return to this location ever again.

Low hourly pay syndrome. They act like it's an inconvenience when i go there, tell me it's too early to give blood when i already have an appointment. They can't call their appointment center to confirm that I'm eligible. Just a pain to have to deal with. Who is serving who here?

I honestly don't know what everyone's complaining about. These people are nice, the facility is professional, and the wait was exactly what I'd expect for sashaying in at 3 PM on a Friday. Don't want to wait? Make an appointment or show up at 1 PM on Monday.

If they have 0 star or negative star I will do that. Just talked to the manager Nicole. RUDE. I called 1: 45 tried to make appointment 'We are extreme busy I cant talk to you. I'll call you back 15 min. ' She did not call me back. I called back 2: 20. I asked her. 'what kind of phone call she can answer.if you are extreme busy. ' She wont give me any answer. This is my 2nd time BAD BAD experience. 1st time (happened 1 year ago) IF SHE STILL MANAGER THERE, DO NOT DO NOT GO THERE.

Best Blood donation I have ever done but as an overall note for the Carter BloodCare in general some of their callers don't know what they are talking about, I just had one tell me that 52 hemoglobin and 52 hematocrit are the same thing. (yes I know overall they are the same thing but the scaling they are on is different)

The staff is awesome. They are friendly and professional. I feel like Norm from Cheers when I donate here. I'm so comfortable when I'm hooked up to the apheresis machine, plus there are snacks and drinks.
