Carter Eye Center, Dallas TX

Many thanks to Dr. Carter & his 1st rate Staff for my visit today.
My visit was a followup to the Crystalens surgery he performed on me 11 years ago which changed my life for the better. His friendly staff is amazing and I'm glad to still have Dr. Carter to rely on for the health of my eyes.

17 years ago, I did a lot of research on what eye surgeon was the best one to do my lens replacement. Dr. Carter had a wonderful reputation. So, I went to his office. I found him and all of his staff very helpful and very professional. Dr. Carter’s office works like a well oiled machine. I was very happy with the information that I received from everyone in the office. All of my questions have always been answered truthfully and honestly. I was extremely pleased with my eye surgery. To this day, my eyesight is wonderful. This is an important fact since I wore thick glasses and I was extremely farsighted. I continue to go back to Dr. Carter on a yearly basis for an annual check, even though I live in Conroe. The reason I go back is that I trust Dr. Carter’s expertise in his field, and his staff continue to be excellent. I was very nervous about getting eye surgery in the beginning. Even 17 years later, I can tell you I made the right decision. So, if you are on the fence and scared of eye surgery, take the plunge and go see Dr. Carter. You will not be sorry. You will find yourself very happy with Dr. Carter’s work and with your experience. Kudos to Dr. Carter and all of his staff! I will see you next year!

I had my best experience of eye lasik surgery in Carter center I felt I am at home all the staff are kind, responsible and friendly they were taking care of me all the time and also my surgery whent true I had confident and the atmospher was sweet and friendly.right now after few hours I can see well and they gave me all things that I need after surgery. I love Dr. Carter and his staff. I came in because I was experiencing a lot of floaters n my right eye. Dr. Carter explained the problem and recommended I see a retina specialist. He also did my eye surgery during COVID. He saved me from blindness, I was legally blind and rapidly losing my ability to drive and function as I aged and my vision deteriorated. I see better with my implants than any glasses or contacts. He is a patient and caring person.

I went here and had asked specially for the ophthalmologist to see me, but had the optometrist see me. They checked for my vision AFTER dilating them giving me the wrong prescription. Had me come again and tweaked my prescription further. Makes me question, if they should be in the eye care business.

I've called into their accounting department twice requesting the 10.00 charge for my second eye exam. They never call back or return calls. Horrible customer care here.

From the minute I arrived at the facility, I was treated with respect, candor, and kindness. Every aspect of my preop, postop and surgeries were specific, detail oriented, and efficient. I felt certain that all would go exactly as described and that the outcome would be incredible. I selected Dr. Carter, because my own GP, optometrist, husband and many friends had had stellar results. My visits were over yesterday, and I can see to write this text without the 2 pairs of glasses I had become used to wearing. I can see without blurred street lights and curved figures that are actually straight. I am so thankful for Dr. Carter's team, his very steady hands, and his brilliance. I highly recommend his Center. Go meet him and his staff and judge for yourself. You won't be sorry!
