Last weekend I went to pick up my black 100X that I had ordered several months back. Scott shaped it to perfection, so much so that I walked out of there with a natural 100X as well, shaped just the same.

MY ADVICE! NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE! THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO RUN A BUSINESS AND THEY ARE RUDE!

I have a hat from here but not how most would think, I bought it from a gentleman at a bazaar in Delaware and man is it an incredible hat. Guy said it belonged to his father and that he was happy it would go to someone who appreciated it. Needless to say the craftsmanship is impeccable and the quality is incredible. Would love to visit this shop one day in my travels as I have been Texas in the past.

I ordered a custom hat for my husbands birthday and waited 10 MONTHS and finally asked for my money back. They never once called us to let us know what was taking so long, we always had to call them. They didn’t seem too concerned. Taking our business elsewhere.

I have had two beautiful 100X Beaver hats made at Catalina’s. The hatter that steams them does an excellent job and did well with my straw hat too. The girls there are young and hip! The clothing is so cool and they had a new full stock last week when I was there. Great clothing and selections. I had to put my blinders on leaving the store for fear of going in debt! It’s great. Go as soon as you can for professional hats and cool clothing!

Their model of sourcing material makes no sense and they do not give accurate estimates of times taken to get custom hats. They claim that nobody within the supply chain knows what material their supplier will produce next. As if there is some felt wizard that randomly pulls out a color once a month and nobody knows what will be produced next. The store does not know, that much is clear after waiting several months to hear the same "we have no clue when it's coming in" but they refuse to contact their supplier to find out. The whole model is a mystery box operation, incapable of doing an ounce of due diligence to provide any kind of answer of when material would arrive. I got my money back after 7 months of waiting when we were told 2-3 months.

Right when I walked in the door I was instantly met by someone to help me. Kade was great in assisting me in finding the right hat and size and making sure it was what I wanted and didn't try to over sell me on anything. I had to buy a hat in Fort Worth and left feeling frustrated at the staff after sending a bunch of money and it seemed like I was such a burden for them. At Catalena I felt the exact opposite. I will be a customer for life and would recommend them to anyone. Kade was especially helpful and extremely enjoyable to work with.

This is my first custom hat. I've had hats off the shelf previously. I initially went with my wife to have a custom 10x made for her but I decided to treat myself to a 50x. We both chose black and to have them made instead of off the shelf. This was mid October. It's mid December and they're ready. I went to get mine before my wife due to scheduling. The process for having it shaped and fitted was just fantastic. It took about 40 minutes but I enjoyed watching it being worked on. The hat fits better than I expected and just is perfect. It feels high quality. My other hat is a Stetson 6x. Not fair to compare the two but they're worlds apart. I'll never wear the Stetson again. Or any other brand for that matter. Catalena Hatters will always get my business. Even just to reshape or clean it even though they're 45 minutes away. I can't wait for my wife to get hers! I'll reference a previous comment on not being greeted or helped. I actually enjoyed not being bum-rushed. I first like to look at products myself then ask for assistance if I need it. Regardless, they're helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions even ones I thought were silly. Visit these people. You won't regret it. Merry Christmas!

Walked in no one greeted me came in for a hat. Asked a girl if she worked there she sighed and said "yeah what do you need" told her I was looking for a hat and she pointed at the hats and said "there let me know if you want me to bring one down" and walked away. Left without buying anything.
