Cathedral Guadalupe reviews
21I strongly recommend this amazing church everyone is kind and friendly especially the father (priest). He explained God’s words on a way that everything is understandable!
Beautiful church. I love attending Mass with husband and children. My husband and I got married here, in Community Marrige. And my youngest daughter was baptized at the Cathedral also. I would love my children to be alter servers.
Dennis was so helpful he came in fixed our hot water heater! He was so nice and very informative to help us understand why we were having trouble in the first place! Went far beyond the call of duty for this day in age!
Beautiful church to visit/ see. Several close by parking lots plus several places within walking distance to visit (art museums).
I do not usually attend this church. Normally, I attend the First Baptist Dallas church which is very near this one. I went to this cathedral for one of my Spanish assignments and in addition to my curiosity to visit a Catholic church. It was a great experience and I even had the opportunity in the Eucharist.
Note: I did not realize that the Catholic church used real wine as opposed to grape juice (in the Baptist one).
I grew up in the shadows of the Cathedral of Guadalupe. And I attended the Sacred Heart Cathedral School in the mid 60's.
Beautiful Cathedral I always feel a great calm entering this establishment. The people are always very kind and generous with others as well.
There's a lady at the evening mass with glasses and shoulder dark hair, I don't like the way she dresses flonting her breast. She always wears very low cut shirts. It's in acceptable for a church setting. Especially when she bends down to collect the money. Please woman, your not at the club. I once caught her flirting with my husband. I didn't have words with that woman. First we're in church, then, well I'm not that kinda a person. But the experience we had. I will never take my family, not will I ever invite anyone to this church with that kinda people serving our Lord in the evening on Sunday. Shame, Shame, not one has ever talk to her about what to wear to church.
This church is very pretty Also the people there are really nice Masses are very well organized. Very easy to find masses either in English or Spanish and after mas they have delicious breakfast and lunch very affordable.
People always make you feel welcome.
It's a beautiful Cathedral. I stopped by while visiting Dallas. There was some construction going on and I wish they had more signs pointing to where the temporary entrance was because it took us a while to find it.
Daily noon mass. Beautiful inside, you can sit inside and pray during the day. Restoration is on the way, can't wait until it's finished!
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. Why name a church after a pagan Goddesss? Only God does miracles she is no where in the Bible
I have been coming here for over a year to the noon Mass during the week. The Cathedral is an amazing place to escape the chaos of the workweek in downtown Dallas. The Mass is always reverent and the homilies are always enlightening. If you are ever in the Arts District, you should drop in and experience the beauty that is the Cathedral Shrine.
This is a beautiful Cathedral in the process of being restored to its full glory. The pastor Fr. Bierschenk,
has a career of building and restoring. The Cathedral is in good hands.
I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. This is a beautiful, peaceful Church, and I love serving here every Sunday. I am an alter server, and I love it! The food is always amazing, but I usually go to the corn man on the corner across from the street!
Beautiful church, one of the most ornate in all of Dallas. Parking is tough and there is a pretty serious echo inside but great experience.
Parking is not a problem at all. You just need to know the time of the previous mass ends & give at least 15 minutes for the previous attendees to get out of the parking space & you will be surprise wolaah, plenty of space to choose from. There is a saying, " never complained when you worship our LORD, patience and FAITH needs to be in you" God Bless!
My Father Deacon Benito Garcia has been a member off this church for 40years so I've been a member since I was born in 1972
Beautiful historic Catholic church in the heart of Downtown and the Arts District. Even if your not Christian or Catholic, this is a peaceful, calming sanctuary to relax and reflect on life. Friendly and spiritual crowd is welcoming of everyone. Parking is limited, so plan ahead or arrive very early.
