Cavalli Pizza reviews
16Everything we had was delicious from the appetizers like the calamari and artichoke-jalapeño dip to the neopolitan style pizza. Biggest complaint which nearly knocks them down a star for me is that it’s a small place with limited seating that is super loud, so loud that’s it’s difficult to converse. They should install some type of insulation on the walls to bring down the noise levels.
Thoroughly impressed with this place! If you're looking for authentic Neapolitan pizza, this is the spot! We grabbed a Margherita, as is our custom when trying a Neapolitan place for the first time, and it rivaled our favorites from back in New Haven and Boston, which we've been sorely missing! And the tiramisu was excellent as well. We will most definitely be back next time we're in the area.
Who knew? This place Cavalli Pizza is only 2 miles from my house. There are accolades of the Best Pizza in town adorning the walls and front door as you walk in. This place is in Irving next to my favorite Poke place. Unassuming, humble, but power house pizza. I was inspired to find a Woodfire pizza joint near me after watching the nexflix show “chefs table. ” The price is even great. Today I had the “Dallas” and it was crispy and delicious. Trust me y’all, this place is awesome so check them out.
Can't recommend the Texas Heat enough. Spicy soprasatta is my love language. Bring a bottle of wine with you.
BEST PIZZA IN DALLAS NO doubt! Been coming to this place since 2015 and never disappointed, i always order margaritta with pepperoni
Pizza was mediocre, calamari and service was horrendous! If I could vote less stars, they would be getting less stars!
Hidden gem in Irving! Really good pizza! Good undercarriage, good taste to the dough, couldn’t ask for anything better! Will be returning
Hadn't been here in a couple of years but the memory of their fine pizzas in a fire roasted oven plus salads brought me back. They did not disappoint. Same great pizza, same great service and same great place for family, friends. The Margarite Pizza is the vegan delights! I'll be back soon.
Excellent Italian style pizza. My wife and I were craving some bufala pizza after coming back from Rome and this place really delivered.
Great as always.
Very consistent, we have been going there for many years now, pizza the way it should be, and if you bring your own alcohol it is a really good value.
First they made me wait like they forgot about me. Then they gave me the wrong salad. Absolutely the worse meatball sandwich ever. It tasted like sink water and the bread? Weird and disgusting
Wow! This place is small and has brick log oven to cook pizza. I had the margarita pizza and it has good size for a personal pizza. I thought I wasn’t going to be able to eat, but it was so good I ate it all. All I can see it was amazing. The best I have tasted.
Beautiful simplicity is the key to their pizza. They have some wonderfully locally crafted soda and great salads. Perfect for lunch or an evening meal.
No doubt the best pizza money can buy in Irving. They specialize in neapolitan style cooked in a super hot wood fire oven. Don't come here if you are expecting American style pizzas ala Pizza Hut or Papa John's. The crust is thin, the sauce is rich, and the cook was perfect. The 12" is more than adequate as a meal for one or to share for those with small appetites. I chose the Diavola pizza which comes topped with hot sausage, fresh jalapeños, bell peppers, and basil. It had a pleasant kick to it from the fresh jalapeños but wasn't overly spicy. I also ordered the Italian wings and the sauce was very rich and savory. It is a very thick garlic parmesan sauce that one can easily tell is homemade. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get and I'll recommend Cavalli to anyone looking for a quality lunch or dinner
I got the lunch combo with a Margherita pizza, Ceasar side salad. So good! I just wish the pizza had more garlic and basil, other than that, yum!
Pizza definitely wasn't as good as the reviews and pictures make it seem, I got a New York pizza with meatballs, pepperoni, and sun dried tomatoes. 1st Pizza was completely cold so I had to drive back to get a fresh one, but they gave me a fresh one no questions asked. Pizza was decent but not great, very thin & floppy crust and barely any sauce. For the price I think it's definitely too much money for the pizza you're getting.
