Cedar Creek Bar & Grill, Houston TX

After waiting in line for 15 minutes, we get to the bar to be told that we can’t order from the regular menu until 2: 00 because they’re only serving brunch until then. We sit and wait another 15 minutes for 2: 00 to come around. We wait in line AGAIN. It’s now 2: 05 so surely I can order now, right? Nope. I am then told that they aren’t taking any food orders until 2: 30 because the kitchen is backed up from all the brunch orders. We left without any service at all. The bartender didn’t seem at all interested in trying to accommodate us. She had a ‘it is what it is’ attitude even when I explained that we had already been turned away and told to wait earlier.

Wonderful patio. Enjoyed the hummus. The brussel sprouts had a good flavor, but not quite done.

We've been here a couple of times in the last month. The burgers are great.and we love the fast service and outdoor seating. This place takes me away from Houston.even though it's in the heights it feels country. Laid back and comfy. Recommend this business.

I went to get a couple drinks and hang out with a CO worker on a Thursday the atmosphere was nice people were sitting out on the patio it wasn't too crowdedI went for lunch happy hour with a CO worker enjoyed the music  it wasn't that many people there of course they were sitting outside on patio
I also like the little water Creek we had to cross a bridge
a friend of mine told me"
it was an alligator in there" so I ran across the bridge joking of course
it was cool will return

A must-go oasis. We'll be going back since there are so many delicious choices on the menu. Laid-back atmosphere with a touch of upscale essential, seating is indoor or outdoor. Very way cool!

I go here all the time usually great but I went to onion creek a few days ago and I almost got a rotten shot the whisky had obviously gone bad I had to stop the bar tender and insist on him giving me a fresh bottle. I'm at ceder creek right now and the frozen margaritas are almost un drinkable i did not drink mine and I'm not picky.it tastes like it has no Sweetner and 2-3x the lime juice. Love this place its been great for years but I will find somewhere else to go if this keeps up. I did not ask for another drink but it would have been nice if I where offered one

Went there during happy hour and was shocked: the place is really nice and I like the outdoor part a lot! The so called draft beer, on the other hand, was very bad. Nothing that remotely resembles to beer: just colored water with a hint of a taste. I had to revert to canned beer to avoid getting upset. Of course no ale!

This right here is always a great place to hang out! I always enjoy meeting friends and catching up. The drains are cold and the food is delicious! No time for photos we are having a blast! Highly recommend.

I've had different salads and burgers here with coworkers multiple times on our lunch break. Great food and love the place!

What a surprise to find this place. What first appears to be a bar.also has great food. One of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. Order at the bar. Infinite diet coke is always a great sell, to me.

A real creek in a large indoor and outdoor drinking, eating place with fantastic ambiance. Smell of a campfire. I plan to breakfast here more often.

Friendly people here, good service. Steak night was great, love seeing the grill outside going, steak was cooked perfectly. Decent selection of beers, too.

They offer an expansive outdoor patio seating area next to a creek, with plenty of tables for guests. The food looked and tasted great. Ordered frozen drinks and they were ok, the mango mimosa definitely did not taste like mango. A good option if the weather is nice. Probably one of the best patio bars in Houston.

Pretty great food, the hot chicken sandwich was massive! Awesome outdoor patio with great decor, dog friendly. I feel the prices could be a little better all around but great place to get out nonetheless

Large patio for groups and enjoying drinks after a hard day's work. Food is pretty good!
