Please dont go to this place, they are always trying to push for things which are not required or not recommended. We went to get our daugther tested for cavities, they found a big cavity which required root canal and crown. The management kept on insisting to pay for crown even though they had not done any actual work. Our daughter had braces and her orthodontist recommended to do crown after braces come off, endodontist also recommended to do filling after root canal. These people kept on insisting to do crown and they refused to follow the recommendations of orthodontist and endodontist.

If there was a zero it would apply in this case. No sense of urgency or care given to patients in distress. Site clearly states Aetna HMO accepted and we had appt confirmed for 6/28 and insurance type. Advised by employee no longer accepting new patients based on staff levels and insurance type. Fortunatley we called to confirm appt today and was advised appt is cancelled. Staffer advised they would of called us on Tuesday to advise of change. Keep in mind this is an emergency and finding another dentist in less than 24hours is a challenge. Not sure who makes the business descision from that office. Its clearly a monetary play and not priority family oral health care as their mission statement advises. Will advise my insurance of the bias and discrimination.

After years of not going to the dentist because of severe anxiety, I had to go because of tooth pain. I was assured when I met with Dr Guan that I wouldn’t feel anything and he prescribed something to help with my anxiety before my procedure. I have always felt pain anytime I have gone to the dentist because of hyper sensitivity and never have I not been in pain during dental work until now. I ended up having to have a root canal and Dr Strong made sure I had a comfortable experience as well. I will never go anywhere else! If you are like me and afraid of the dentist, rest assured that this is your place. I highly recommend Cedar park Modern Dentistry and especially Dr Guan and Strong.

I was super impressed! Not only was it clean and the front staff really friendly and helpful, but Dr. Multani did such an amazing job! My daughter had chipped her tooth previously and we had it fixed at another office. She chipped it again, and we went to Dr. Multani and her repair was way better than the last office. My daughters tooth looks 100% natural and matches the shape of her other teeth perfectly. I am very happy with the results. My whole family will be back for sure!

I had a great experience with Dr. Multani. I was super nervous going to the dentist after a long time. But Dr. Multani made feel super comfortable and explained every part of the process. The front staff was also super friendly. I will definitely be back!

Had a crown emergency and they were able to get me in that same morning. All staff was great, courteous, and professional. Dr. Multani has an excellent disposition and is extremely attentive to the concerns and objectives of the patient. Thank you!

Came in earlier today for a regular 6 month check in, i have always enjoyed coming here! The people at the desk are always smiling when they greet me and are eager to help me with anything! Dr Moltani (sorry if I butchered that) is amazing! She is so welcoming and helps me with any questions I have over my teeth and gives the best information on how to better my smile! She is very knowledgeable.

This place is the definition of lazy. Lazy receptionists who can’t answer simple questions, can’t schedule things properly. Lazy hygienists who don’t give proper dental cleanings. Imagine my shock when I had a “cleaning” wondering “is that it? ” They don’t use drill bits and tools to get deep in there. They just poke and prode your gums and brush your teeth. That’s it. Also they will lie and say you need fillings when you don’t. I just got a cleaning and checkup from a REAL dental office and it proved to me how much of a sham this place is.

Dr have been good but this place is an absolute dump. The chairs, exam rooms, floor, AC grilles have Never been cleaned. When I say neve I mean never! The carpets are stained and not swept. I witnessed cross contamination from the assistants NOT changing their gloves from one mouth to the next. This is frightening. This should bar reported to the Texas Health Department

I’m a long timer (more than 1 Decade) with Modern Dentistry and my teeth always been given good care, guidance and recommendations.
The staff is very friendly, transparent sharing the details related to dental needs. They have good finance options and help out patients guiding them in right direction.
The hospitality of staff for their patients prompt appointment reminders, flexible to reschedule and go above and beyond to accommodate patients dental needs are some of the reasons I’m still with Modern Dentistry.

I’m 70 years old and I’m speaking from experience about total dental care. I’ve had everything from teeth pulled, filled, crowns and dentures from Cedar Park Modern Dentistry. If you are looking for a first class dental facility from the front office personnel to the technicians and Dentist you will not find a better facility than this. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs.

Dr. Multani and Sabrina (actually everyone at this clinic) deserve more than 5 stars! They are very friendly and thorough! It was my first time visiting them and I will definitely be back!

I had several crowns and one root canal treatment with Dr Guan, he is very experienced and skillful. My dental condition was very concerning when I first came to see Dr Guan, then pregnancy paused my treatment. After 2 years finally got all problems fixed.

I've battled serious illnesses and they have caused serious damage to my teeth, my Dentist and staff treat me with dignity, respect and kindness.

Dr. Schoelman and her staff are awesome! Her assistant Brenda is kind, gentle and has excellent bedside manner, she put me at ease on day 1!

Dr Schoelman has taken her time restoring my teeth's health, and getting me ready for some cosmetic changes.

Frontline staff like Kat are always warm and friendly and Kat a fellow cancer survivor is genuine kindred spirit.

Kudos to everyone on knowing their jobs and doing them well!

I strongly recommend this dentistry! My tooth cracked and it was addressed the next day with the crown, can't believe how fast they 3D printed the crown! AWESOME!

Dr Guan, has my Boss, and 2 of my coworkers, including myself very happy, we all talk highly about his compassion and services from his office. The staff is very friendly.
I had fear of Dentist
Now I look forward to seeing my Dr. Guan and staff.

I feel like I was put in the situation that I have to buy the insurance and pay more for the X-ray exam and teeth cleaning package. Initially, when I called them to set the appointment, they offered me a special promotion of $59,99 for the package as I haven’t been there for 2 years. However, when I had come and done the X-ray, they informed that I have to pay around $900 if I dont buy the $119 discount insurance as the promotion is not applicable for me. Finally, I had to pay $227 total. And also, the process of cleaning was super fast, only using hand clean for few minutes then apply the buffer. I felt very frustrating and upset about the way they do their business and unsatisfied with their service. Absolutely not recommended. Will never go back.

During 2021 and 2022 I decided to invest in myself and took care of some teeth issues all back to back during that time frame. So I ended up getting 4 crowns and a bridge (technically counts like 3 crowns and spent over $6000 at this place. My understanding (especially after spending that much money) is that the crowns were covered by a warranty of 5 years.
So fast forward to February 2023 and one of the crowns broke, so I made an appointment thinking that there was no problem as I was covered. This is what I found:
1. - Turned out that the one that broke conveniently was a "lab made" crown and not one that was made at the office and in that case there was no warranty. I honestly don't remember having to return for a lab crown and it was saved in their records as a "lab crown" (which doesn't mean anything as you will see). I paid $785 with insurance As I was getting frustrated I started to question how about the other 6 and this is what I found:
2. - Another crown was recorded as "cerecfired" meaning that it was made 'in house", I also paid $785.for that one. So I asked: so that one has a 5 year warranty right? Answer was no! Then I asked why? Answer: because of what you paid.
So question: if a lab crown and an in house made (knowing that an in house is better and that's why it has a "warranty") have the same price, why would they use a lab one in the first place?
Question 2, if the so-called "warranty" depends on what you pay, shouldn't that be mentioned when they tell you that you are getting an in-house crown with 5 years warranty?
3. - Then I asked about my bridge which I paid almost $3000, to find that even that the Dr confirmed that it was made at the office (cerecfired) and i remember watching how it was getting built, to my surprise it was recorded as a "a lab bridge" (which sounds ilegal) when I asked why, they said that it was because of the amount I paid, and therefore no warranty. At this point I directly asked Dr Guan, "so the so-called warranty really doesn't depend on what material was used where the crown was made or how it was recorded in your system, it only depends on how much you paid for it"? He's answer was, yes.
I also want to mention that before every procedure, the Dr.explained that I was getting a house-made (cerecfired) crown with a 5 year warranty and thats what I agreed on.
So finally here are my takeaways:
For crowns made in-house, there is really no warranty and they should stop advertising it, and if there is it should be very clear that by paying a lower amount that "warranty" is voided.
A practice shouldnt be recording patience services purposely incorrectly to avoid granting an advertised warranty.
I have copies of all my records to support what I am stating and considering legal action.

Decent experience at first, but it was quite pricey. A few months into 2022 they stopped accepting my insurance. I called them to determine if they accepted my new insurance for 2023 and they said yes. Then after I made an appt in January 2023, they called and said they already had enough patients with my insurance so I could pay cash or cancel my appointment - offering no solutions. I have never heard of that, neither has any medical person I know.

Worked out in the end because now I'm at Avery Ranch Dental and they have been excellent from the first time I called. So thanks to CP Modern Dentistry for being subpar, because now I have a great dentist at Avery Ranch.
