I had been taking my dog to the same vet for 7 years but had been only mildly impressed for the last couple of years. I particularly didn’t like my last visit there in 2019 due to a rushed visit with new doc and lackluster interest in what was really going on with my dog. So I decided to try this place based on a recommendation and they were fabulous! Took their time, read ALL of Jinx’s medical history, and were super down-to-earth and personal. Both Jinx and I are thrilled that we have a new place for vet care.

What a wonderful place! My Westie has Westie Lung Disease, and Dr. Natalie Smith was willing to try an experimental treatment using cold laser. I was supposed to lose my boy over a year and a half ago, and he’s still doing well.
This staff is caring, warm, and genuinely concerned about your pets. Thanks to all of you including Desiree, Felicia, Jasmine, and Alec. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Thank you Dr. Natalie Smith! I had to take my 10 year old female boxer in yesterday. I was not a client but a friend recommended Dr. Smith. So I called yesterday in a panic and I was able to see Dr. Smith the same day. She was amazing! I was expecting the worst outcome for my poor Zoe but she Dr. Smith took very good care and was extremely thorough. Zoe was a lot better last night and is still in good spirits this morning. And the added bonus, the clinic just called me a few minutes ago to see how Zoe was doing. I couldn't be happier with Dr. Smith and the staff at Central Houston Animal Hospital. ️

Been having chronic issues with both my cats using a different vet. One had an ear infection for about a year, and the other had crystals in her urine for about 6 months and wasn't getting resolved.

A few visits at this place and both my kitties are cured! Yes, it was $$$ but my previous vet's lack of care caused my kitties' condition to be worse than expected. So i'm happy to have spent the money to have 2 healthy kitties.

I highly recommend Dr. Faulkner and Dr. Smith, and the care of the supporting staff. And Carrie the groomer is fantastic, she goes well out of her way to accommodate my every need from working with my schedule to my dog’s specific skin and coat requirements. Thank you for your exceptional service!

We will forever love Central Houston! They helped us with our sick pup and helped us rescue a sweet new girl a year later. They explained all medical treatments and options. Dr. Smith was awesome as she was the one that cared for our girl and helped us understand what we needed to do to move forward in helping her. The staff is kind and attentive and our new pup loves her Vet family. I would recommend this hospital and Dr. Smith 100%!

OVERPRICED AND HORRIBLY RUDE.

Dr. Smith is insanely rude. Everything is more expensive here. Don’t waste your time. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

We LOVE Central Houston Vets! Maxi loves Dr. Reid! They LOVE him and take extra good care of him. Max also loves that all of the vets are FEMALE!

Excellent pet care, knowledgeable and caring vets, and centrally located facilities. The doctors and staff here put your pet first and follow through over the phone and in person. A+

I've brought both my cats there several times without complaint. When I bring one cat in, the staff all ask about the other by name. I've walked in a few times and been seen promptly. The techs are sweet and considerate, the vets take time with their thorough exam, offer their plan and plausible alternatives. I will continue to go there and recommend them without reservation.

We took our dog in this last week with the early onset of PARVO. I cannot imagine going to a different clinic. Everyone was so helpful and compassionate throughout the entire experience. We received personal calls from Vets and Nurses, we were accommodated whenever it was necessary. They were just as dedicated to our dog as we were.

Been going now for at least 10 years. I am so comfortable there I feel like family. Dogs are expensive; these folks are genuine and caring in every sense of the word. I would not consider going any place else; these guys are the real deal!
