Central Market reviews
34 Central Market is normally my go-to patio spot, but idk that I’ll be back after today. The band was great, patio seating is a joke unless you plan on showing up at 4. Don’t even think about bringing your own chairs to sit at the open tables they have outside- we were told ‘no folding chairs allowed. ’ We paid $11 for a subpar, cold hamburger.
Just disappointing and over priced for a disappointing experience.
Step it up, Central Market.
Healthy options and great artisan items. Selection is enormous. If you are hungry on the go, then they have a great cafe section.
This stores layout and products are on point as far as markets & grocery. The fruit & vegatables are the first section you have no choice but to go thru then it guides you to different departments. They pretty much have you pass thru each section.which is great for marketing etc. Plus they have your regular store items plus your health food store items. They have a deli/resturaunt lounge area and play park type area for you and your family also.
Do you have money that’s burning a hole in your pocket? This is the perfect place to spend it. Groceries are super fresh here and they have the best meat selection in the area. But you are going to pay for quality
Cant' put my finger on it but this store just has a better vibe than Whole Foods. Definitely prefer their selection and atmosphere.
I was asked to show a receipt for another cup. Very rude lady. She was already reaching for the cup until she saw me.
Everything is so organized and i got to buy candy i had never tried before so i was pretty happy over all
Great store, wonderful selection of fresh and organic foods. Huge salad and lunch bar with microwaves available to heat food. Seating area is nice for a sit down lunch. Would have given five stars except for the bug I saw crawling around drink station and over the lemon slices. Needless to say we didn't have any lemons. Reported to one of the employees and they didn't seem to concerned.
I always love this store! Great ready made food and a fun variety of groceries. Not recommended for things like toilet paper and paper goods as they don't carry much of that stuff. But great for things to add to special meals and getting treats and such!
Always a unique selection and something to try! Going here means you are gonna buy something you didn't expect to but you won't regret it. Most new foods Ive been thinking to try are often made possible by Central market. And they even bring new options to the counter for any recipe I want to kick up a notch.
Hadn't been to a central market in years very pleased this was the store I came to. Excellent customer service, beautiful arrangement. Delicious wine. You have to try the Crack Berry.
Love the food, but Charly, the man who cuts up the bbq, is always angry and impatient so I stopped getting bbq and I stick with other things.
If you don't mind fighting the crowds, this store has just about all you need. Great layout, clean and good prices.
I love to shop here for meat and produce. The store is always clean and full of new goodies I’ve never heard of, plus I love their already put together meals! Also I absolutely adore their flower department, they have beautiful fresh flowers daily!
Although I don't come here for a proper grocery shopping, I do make the trip for specific items such as: coffee K cups (Houston blend is the best!), bone broth (turkey and beef), and their best in town salad bar (for $10 you can have two amazing salads).
I. Love. Central Market. I should probably take a chaperone with me because I always want to buy all the things! It’s more expensive than most grocery stores but in this case I think you get what you pay for.
I spend waaaaay too much time when I come here, and waaaay too much money. But it's worth it. Central Market is in a class of its own. Be sure to check out their cooking classes and live music on their amazing patio.
I shop for glutin-free grains and they have a great selection. The produce is priced better than big box grocers at times and is sourced locally (trexas-grown) when available.
Great produce you won’t find anywhere else! There is a bulk section and tons of great frozen foods. A little on the pricier side but definitely worth a splurge!
