When surgery and Dr Cline was recommended, it was the last thing I wanted to do. After my first consultation appointment, he answered many questions and after the second consultation if was very comfortable. Post surgery I did have a complication that set me back about a week but all in all, a year later I am very happy that he was my surgeon.
Follow up appointments can be challenging but that seems mainly due surgery’s running long. My suggestion is book office appointments later in the day to help avoid delays or cancellations.

Completely treated with concern. Although an embarrassing problem I was completely put at ease by staff and Dr Shah

Dr. Shah was quick and thorough through my check up and made sure to answer any questions I had. He shared his knowledge on how to approach home care very well and was not quick to recommend surgery unless needed. Very pleased with his experience and professionalism.

Very disappointed. My appointments have always been 45+ minutes late and I usually get just a 5-10 minute convo with Dr. Fox whose bedside manner is, 'I'm really busy so I'll explain this quickly and don't ask questions because I don't have time. ' Her nurse/assistant also told me not to worry about whether a lab was out of network with my insurance because it "usually isn't too much" but the quote I got from the lab was around $1,000. When I called to ask for options, I didn't hear back for a week so I called again and they said they didn't really know how to help me but they'd look into it. It's been three weeks and I've had no response despite numerous calls to their office in the last week trying to get the nurse on the line. Extremely unprofessional.

Was diagnosed with colon cancer in mid november and was recommended Dr Shah as the surgeon, and I am very thankful to have made that choice. My surgery was in early december and it went remarkably well. Dr Shah, explained his choice of surgery method (da vinci robotic) and how it would happen and what my recovery would be like and answered every question with a friendly demeanor and a smile. I'm now cancer free and will highly recommend Dr Shah for making this difficult phase of my life so much easier to handle.

I was referred to Central Texas Colon and Rectal Surgeons by Austin Gastroenterology following a procedure. I was contacted by Central Texas Colon and scheduled an appointment approx. 2 weeks out. On the day of my appointment, I was called just after leaving my house to make my appointment (I live 30 minutes away, work full time, and need to take time off work for appointments) and told the doctor had an emergency and had to cancel. I was not offered an opportunity to reschedule at that time. I called back later in the week and was able to get another appointment scheduled about 2 weeks later. On that day (which I took off work), I arrived at my scheduled appointment on time and was told I had to be rescheduled again as the doctor was sick. The two female staff members at the front desk were rude and adamantly lied about already calling me to reschedule. My phone was with me all morning and I had no messages or missed calls. I was not able to reschedule at the time as I had to now re-check my work schedule and put in more time off. As I was making the 30 minute drive back home, I finally got the phone call to reschedule. How timely.
I just tried calling again this morning to reschedule and again had a sketchy experience. Staff member that answered was eager to schedule me until I explained my previous experience. She then decided she would have to call me back at a later time to reschedule. Disappointing experience altogether and I would not recommend.

10/10 would recommend. Dr. Shah is highly skilled and extremely professional, and my procedure took only minutes with minimal pain. I will say that I wouldn’t recommend going here strictly for pleasure (I’m quite open minded, but needles in and around my rectum is not something that I have the desire to experience again), but if you need a colon/rectal surgery I can give Dr. Shah my bootyhole seal of approval!

Quick to recommend surgery as the option needed with not other advise, except schedule it with Martha when you're ready. Then they tell me I have no co-pay upon speaking with the cashier on the way out, to get a bill in the mail for $30 three weeks later. The people are basic, no personality, no smiles, masks everywhere (get vaccinated), and just cut and dry. If you want to have surgery go here, if you want options and people with personality go somewhere else.

I had a previous laparoscopic procedure, by another surgeon, prior to meeting Dr. Shah. The comparison of my recovery between the two surgeries was like night and day. It was a virtually pain-free experience with Dr. Shah; some minor soreness was all I felt. That was not the case with my previous surgery. I was in pretty severe pain during recovery.

Out of the 12 lymph nodes needed by my oncologist from my colectomy, Dr. Shah removed 69. My oncologist said that the procedure could not have gone more perfectly.

He was thorough in his explanation of the procedure during our office consultation. His staff were wonderful and they scheduled my surgery as I was leaving his office. He was attentive during the post-op care while I was in the hospital and that has continued after I was released.

Hopefully if I ever need another surgery in the future, Dr. Shah would be willing to handle it; I would travel out of state to be in his care. I highly recommend him.

I am so thankful for this office and Dr. Graves. I don't know how to repay his or their kindness and understanding of my situation.

Dishonest and fraudulent charge. I pay my deductible and days later for some reason they got me with more charges because "it wasn't processed withmy insurance at the time ". First and last time that happened because I Cancel my appointments and I'll never come back to this place.

When I was in the hospital and found out that I had two masses in my colon, Dr Miller was the on-call doctor. Being diagnosed with cancer unexpectedly was the hardest moment of my life, but having Dr. Miller as the on-call doctor was one of the biggest blessings of my life. From the first time and every other time I saw Dr. Miller, he made me feel so much better with his knowledge and plan for my care. He always took the time to answer all of my questions and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Another awesome thing about Dr. Miller is that he worked very closely with my oncologist. They truly were my dream team and to this day continue to be.

With my young age of 36 and family history of cancer, Dr. Miller was knowledgeable in asking me to get genetic testing done before we made any surgery plans. The testing unfortunately came back showing I have lynch syndrome. After a series of conversations and going over all of my options, we came up with a plan that I felt comfortable with. I ended up opting for a complete colectomy and full hysterectomy to be as preventative as we could with my lynch syndrome diagnosis.

Surgery went great and Dr Miller checked on me and once again told me what our plan was daily to get me home. Unfortunately, my hospital stay got extended when I developed an illias (where my small intestine was asleep and not working properly yet) and a bad infection that was making me very sick. There was nothing that could have been done differently to prevent these complications from happening and they are not typical. Dr Miller was quick to come up with a plan. He immediately put me on antibiotics and went in for a second surgery to make sure my new connection was working properly. Dr Miller was so extensive during my surgery and removed 77 of my lymph nodes. I believe he saved me from having to do chemotherapy after my surgery when all of those lymph nodes came back negative.

I have been blown away from the care Dr. Miller has given me every step of the way during my journey. He continues to guide me in my new life without a colon and because of his expertise, I do not have a colectomy bag. Dr Miller has truly saved my life and I will never be able to thank him enough. I highly recommend Dr. Miller for anyone that needs a colon and rectal surgeon as he is the absolute best in his business.

Dr. Shah is an excellent surgeon. He explained in detail what needed to happen in order to repair my colon problem, using a diagram, as well as, answering the numerous questions I had. The surgery was definitely a success and my recovery went extremely well. Dr. Shah made sure to visit me daily during my hospital stay. He has the best bedside manner! I can not say enough about how happy I was with the outcome. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Shah is a terrific doctor and surgeon. He was extremely detailed in the discussions leading up to and following the procedure, very friendly, and accommodating to all of our needs. His bedside manner is without compare. I would wholeheartedly recommend him for any colorectal procedures!

My 86 year old mother was diagnosed with colon cancer. Dr Shah performed surgery to remove the tumor and did an amazing job. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Dr. Graves was fantastic. He was determined to help me in whatever way he could, and had the talent and knowledge to do so. Despite the fact that I'm sure he sees a lot of patients, I could tell he had genuine empathy for my situation. Very personable. Great guy, great office. And hopefully I'll never had to see any of them again!:)

Have you ever had an experience with a health care provider where you felt rushed? A visit where your questions went unanswered or where your appointment was cut short? Perhaps you didn't feel valued. Maybe you have felt like your appointment was nothing more than a way to separate you from your money.

This is not that kind of place. Every single team member went above and beyond to help me through the process. Dr. Miller spent plenty of time with me to explain the pros and cons of my procedure. He took a conservative approach based on data, not hype. I was treated with kindness, compassion, and respect from beginning to the end. My outcome exceeded my every expectation.

If you need gut surgery and you want to be treated as a valued patient rather than a line on a balance sheet, call CTCRS. I wish I would have done it years ago.

Dr. Shah is amazing! I have needed a procedure done for years, literally! I have had several doctors say very inconsiderate things and treat me as if I was not experiencing pain and that my issue did not required medical attention.
I was ready to cry after Dr. Shah LISTENED to me and took me seriously. He was even okay with me calling my sister, who is a general surgeon, to speak with her about what was happening. My sister and I could not find an African American colorectal surgeon in the area. I felt defeated. Representation matters in the medical field and I felt like a human being after my visit. I wish I had known about him 3 years ago. I really can't believe I suffered in pain and agony so long.
