Cesars Upholstery Shop reviews
10Brought in something that needed stitching. About three feet of of material that needed to be stitched together and he said he’d have to replace one of the part of material despite it not being damaged and said it would be $300. Also the workers were talking bad about me in Spanish then when they found out I spoke Spanish they didn’t care or act surprised. Seems like they price stupid high and try and trick you into paying for work you don’t need and also don’t mind talking trash about you to your face. Wouldn’t recommend supporting this business.
I took a wingback recliner to Cesar. It was almost 10 years old and you cannot find them in stores any longer. Cesar reupholstered my recliner and repaired the mechanism. Chair is just as good as it was when I bought it brand new. He did a super job.
I went to Cesar to fix my sectional that had a tear underneath the cushions. After he looked at at and said he could fix it, he told me it would be about a week. After two days he called me and told me it was ready to be picked up. He not only fixed my sectional but left it even better that when I bought it brand new. He did an amazing job and I will definitely be coming back for any other upholstery needs.
Had a zipper bust on a couch cushion and he replaced it and had it ready for pickup before noon the next day, excellent quality work for a reasonable price!
DO NOT waist you time or money. The people in this shop are NOT professional and have NO knowledge of quality upholstery. They have NO Clue of how to upholster quality furniture. You will have more joy if you just burn your money. STAY AWAY from this place.
I have years of experience with upholstery, but while serving in the Army I got rid of all my equipment. I needed two small cushions remade. I had already bought and cut the material, I even brought the thread. The only thing I needed was stitching.that is a simple thirty minute task for any professional in the business. He offered to do it for $180.00! I know from experience that a fair price will be $20-25 each.when I expressed my calmed surprise he informed me I could take it down the street to another shop. He must be well-off if he does not need work! Good for you Cesar! I see why your ratings are so low. In this business customer service is as important as the quality of workmanship, Good luck!
Excellent work and fair price, very much attention to detail improves your furniture or vehicle interior
I went there to obtain a simple price quote on a bicycle seat. Cesar could not give me a quote. He kept saying he had to see and that he was busy, but he's standing in front of me with the seat in his hand looking/inspecting it like he never seen a bike seat before. I'm like come on Guy, if you don't want or can't do the work just say so. Spent 30mins there and came up with nothing except, I won't do business there.
Caesar has a bad attitude and terrible customer service. I would avoid this place and not waste your money.
I was hired to go pick up a chair he had “fixed”. I called on a Saturday at 2: 30pm to ask about operation hours, as they are not listed online. I was told 6pm. The person who hired me attempted to call the shop at 4pm to let them know that I would be going by, and Caesar did not answer their calls. I attempted to call and he answered. I said I wanted to make sure he was open as he did not answer her last two calls and I was commuting an hour to get there. When I mentioned I wanted to pick up the chair, he was very rude and ended the conversation abruptly saying he was open until 6pm.
I arrive to the shop at 5pm, to no one there. I then call Caesar to confirm he was open and his words are, “you made me wait so you can wait. I’ll be there in 20 minutes”. I have never been treated or spoken to this way on a job. When did I make him wait? I said an hour an arrived early, and YOU SAY YOU ARE OPEN ANYWAY.
? Excuse me? What kind of service is this? Please update your operation hours if you are not going to be open. Don’t have a sign that says open til 6 if you are NOT open. Do not tell lies about being open and then give attitude where it is not warranted, and then waste my time and make me wait. Ridiculous.
I always support local and smaller businesses, but I will avoid this business in the future as they treat customers like they don’t care and are RUDE.
