Chaat N Dosa - Plano - Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurant

The food was delicious and the service was professional. I would recommend this for some good veg treat!

Once we went to this place and noticed davanagere benne dosa being served which is rare find anywhere other then Karnataka.
We ordered a pick. Dosa was decent but would call it as more of butter spongy dosa. I think fresh butter is something which gives that distinct taste but that was not the case here. Potato with dosa usually looks bland but taste good because of fresh mirchi adrak tadka provided. That was not the case here.
Chutney served was common chutney served with other dosa and not what we get in davangere where there is no concept of sambar. Overall would say dosa was good but not what davangere dosa.
Onion samosa was fresh and crispy. Would definitely visit again but not trying davanagere dosa.

The food here is just amazing… we have not only eaten at the restaurant but also done catering from them for several parties. Not one time did anything go lacking. The quality of food is top notch, each item we ordered were so enjoyed by the guests. The service is amazing and Pulla Rao is so accommodating and pleasant to talk to and work with. Will highly recommend Chaat and dosa for any catering or dine in needs.

Wait staff completely ignored my existence && then was rude when they just assumed why I was there. They didn't even ask if I needed any help or why I was there. Won't be back. Customer service is EVERYTHING && this was NOT the place.

Chats are best here, especially samosa chat, pav bhaji and papdi chat were awesome. It's also easy on the pocket.

I ate South Indian Thali today with my family Members. Its too good. I don’t felt I’m in USA while eating the Thali. Especially Service is too good. I thought it’s self service but they are bringing everything to the Table. I like that most in this restaurant.

This is not a place you will have the best experience. They always have an issue I.e fans not working ; A/C down, food quality due to vegetable bad from Mexico, burnt soda, bad Sambhar

They just remodeled.

The person who took the order was very rude. We ordered dosa and asked to make it soft and not too crispy. He smirked and said that all dosas are soft. When the dosa came, part of it was missing like someone tore it off. Also it was not soft. Very bad experience. Won’t be going back.

After eating in this, we all are sick and the oil which was used to prepare bonda is not Gud it smells so we left on the bench there itself and bajji tastes Gud but we are suffering from stomach pain now

I recently dined at Chaat n Dosa in Plano and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The restaurant not only lived up to its name but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of taste quality and service.

The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and comfortable. The seating area was spacious and the decor had a modern yet traditional touch. It created a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy the food and spend time with friends and family.

One aspect that could be improved upon is the waiting time for the food. On a busy day it took a bit longer than expected for our dishes to arrive. However the quality of the food and the excellent service made up for this minor inconvenience.

In conclusion my visit to Chaat n Dosa in Plano was fantastic. The impressive range of chaat and dosa options along with the authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients made it a memorable dining experience. The attentive service and comfortable ambiance further added to the charm of the place. Despite a slightly longer wait time for the food I would highly recommend visiting Chaat n Dosa for a delightful and flavorsome culinary journey

Ordered masala peanuts from here. I think they didn’t want to trash the over fried peanuts they’re all over my order making it taste like charcoal. Never visiting this place again.

Food was ok. Chai was good. Service was good. Overall experience is OK. Price was reasonable.

The most authentic experience of eating South Indian in Texas so far! Focus is definetely on quality over quantity. Homely type meals, with open kitchen and staff inside was Indian so far (when I write this review). The best part was unlimited and hot sambhar with 4 different chutney options. Would recommend everyone to visit here on a regular basis as the prices are also extremely reasonable for the US

First and foremost, please remove Chaat from the name or change your chef. The chaat is beyond edible.
Dosas are decent, but can be improved for sure.
Ambience, restaurant, etc.is pretty average. When we went, the AC was not working.
Credit where its due, we requested to change one of the chaat items and the staff obliged.
