Chair King Backyard Store, Katy TX

The entire staff at the Fry Rd/I-10 location in Houston, Tx were courteous, polite and helpful. Stephen Herring, the assistant manager was especially helpful in assuring I had a completely positive buying experience. I applaud his customer service skills.

Stephen Heering was great! He listened to what we were looking for and then sold us the perfect outdoor seating set. We will recommend Stephen and Chair King to all of our friends.

Went in just to get some ideas and came out with everything we wanted for about 60% of what I thought we would have to pay. Salesman was great, no pressure. Let us wander around the store then answered our questions. When we found the chairs and couch we wanted he said, "Here's a table and chairs for eating that will work great with them and everything is on clearance. " They were delivered no charge within 3 hours. We decided we wanted two more chairs and he ordered those same price and again delivered no charge. Will definitely shop here again

I bought my new patio furniture (Royal Terrace Aged Teak – Indigo Siesta Cushion Seating) at Chair King in Katy on Aug. 14,2021, from Tim Stansel. I love my new furniture & Tim was so helpful! He went above & beyond to assure I was satisfied & ordered just what I wanted.
Delivery was also handled on time & efficiently! It was pouring rain & the young man was still smiling & courteous! (In spite of being soaked!)

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! When we purchased our patio furniture we were happy. We were sold on the quality, warranty as well as the service after the purchase.
I went in to get new cushions and the paint on our table and chairs was peeling. So I wanted to see what need to happen for the repair. We were told that we would have to ship it to South Carolina for repairs. And we were responsible for the freight. We were fine with paying for the freight. After a year of waiting we never received a call back. Like everything else we figured COVID had the store back logged. So in May I went back into the store and spoke with the store manager. He assured me that he would get this resolved.
Well, he somehow dropped the ball. So we found a local paint and body shop and they took care of the furniture.
Just sad that we spent really good money with this company and the service after the sale isn’t what we were sold.

My husband and I walked into the Katy Store and was immediately greeted by Tim Stansel, who gave us his undivided attention. Mr. Stansel answered all of our questions (some duplicates) with patience and understanding. His approach was professional with a sense of pride and pleasure. He wanted to help us. He wanted to ensure that whether we purchased or not, we would be well informed. Upon deciding to proceed with our purchase, he assured us that he would work with us on pricing as much as he possibly could as we wanted to complete our shopping at one place.
Needless to say, we were favored by saving thousands of dollars. In my opinion, Mr Stansel went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. As we were finalizing the purchase, I realized that we hadn't negotiated a coffee table for the patio set and he kindly added one at NO CHARGE.
Sometimes we view salesmen as being money driven only but I can't say this about Tim. I've been to countless other Patio Stores to find the perfect furniture, but either the customer service was lacking, price was outside of our budget or furniture did not meet the standard of attraction we were looking for but Chair King by way of Tim provided all of the above.
I highly recommend doing business with Tim at Chair King Backyard. You will leave amazed and completely satisfied with your experience.

As others have expressed in their previous reviews, I had a great experience working with Stephen today. He and his manager helped me get a patio set rush delivered to our house at no extra cost. He even rolled up an outdoor rug for us and brought it out to the car as we were leaving. I didn’t feel pressured at all, and the customer service was great! I highly recommend this store.

Stephen and Tim helped make our shopping experience for a patio umbrella at the Katy, TX store so smooth and easy. They really went over and beyond the normal customer service expectations. They were patient in answering our questions, demonstrating the product and working on the best pricing that we were very satisfied with! Looking forward to our delivery on Tuesday.
